I'd like to get an idea of what's within the range of normal. So if anyone doesn't mind sharing. Breakfast lunch dinner, snacks. Please be honest if you could, not the edited healthy version.

I'm asking because I could do with a bit of perspective and also hopefully get some ideas.

I'm struggling to fill ds up but getting him to eat decent, filling food is difficult. I know the right things for him to eat but he's constantly taking everyone else's snack type food and nothing I've tried will stop him doing it.

There's a huge backstory of possible disordered eating. I don't want to go into explaining g it all because it's long winded.

He also has an occasional pizza after a sports match with his team mates.

I have a very into health 15 yr old.

Protein overnight oats with banana and seeds.

Lunch - he will make a tuna salad ( all the trimmings ) with a couple of boiled eggs thrown in or chicken breast with rice.
Protein bar or banana.
He will make a protein shake ( unsure of the flavour ).
Melon/grapes/oranges/blueberries.
Dinner - chicken or chicken sausages. Lots of veggies ( so many ).

Yoghurts or milkshake as a pudding. Or him and his older sister make protein puddings for after their gym session.

He used to eat quite a lot of rubbish but, with his training ( lots of sports ) he feels much better for eating clean.

I buy lots of reduced chicken and freeze it - he will go off and make whatever he desires.

one has 8 weetabix for breakfast

my ds once came home from school and ate 12...no joke. He didn't even realize, just kept taking them out of the box. I knew it was 12 because it was a brand new box and I counted what was left.

they are funny...he once ate a huge plate of chicken and rice, a big piece of chocolate fudge cake, then declared that he was starving and there was no food in the house

12!!!! 12!!!! My god. He can’t have poo’d for a week

16 year old ds. Breakfast is 2 weetabix, he takes to school a cereal bar and banana and sometimes pasta or a wrap but not every day. After school a cheese toastie then supper of what ever i cook but pasta, risotto, casserole. Normally a couple of biscuits before bed. He is sporty and recently i am not sure he eats enough so am making have vitamins.

That doesn’t sound much if he’s barely having any lunch

Quicker to list what they don’t eat imo!
