Ds aged 12

Has shower, but if wants bath I run it as he gets nose in book/engrossed in something else and forgets. I don't want ceilings down!

I get his breakfast during the week, as we have 40 minutes to get sorted for school, but he sorts himself at weekends.

I wake him, as he'd never get up otherwise...sometimes have to use the cold wet flannel technique.

I do the packing, so I know he has what he needs, as opposed to what HE thinks he needs.

Will make tea when asked, and is beginning to show interest in cooking, but gets bored when it all doesn't happen instantly!

He does chores for pocket money, such as ensuring loos fully stocked with loo-roll at all times; clearing the table after meals, and we will soon be adding stacking the dishwasher to this. Have just started training him in how to use washing machine.
