16yr old ds1 has just asked me if I'd like to do something tomorrow.....

Exactly that. Just out of the blue. First he asked me if I was off work, then if I would like to do something. I've offered a nice dog wall /lunch out, but think it's not often we get time just us, so wondered what to do. Ds1 isn't sure what he wants to do, just something. Just looking for inspiration really, any ideas mumsnetters?? ,

I'm unfit and they'd currently only one wheel on my bike..

I'm excited now. Love a day out with them on a 1:1. Went to coast last time, So few and far between these kinds of days. I'm not sure how long he will want a day out with his mum, but I'll take it where I can!

If it is junkyard golf in Leeds my 21 year old daughter went and said it was great!! This coming from someone who has never shown the slightest bit of interest in any kind of crazy golf before.

I thought similar There was a post on here ages ago where OP's 14yo DS decided to wear a coat and it was all about how this showed he was seriously interested in a girl This title made me think of that.

OP, my boys are much younger. The oldest (nearly 3) is going through a very prolonged phase of being angry and not liking me. I wish he wanted to go out with me for the day now, never mind in 2034 Have a lovely day, I hope you both enjoy it! What a fine young man he sounds!

Dd and I are doing crazy golf this week too, then dinner at Yo Sushi.
We've not played crazy golf since she was about 8, she's almost 20 now

Then next Tuesday we are going to the cinema to see the Bon Jovi concert film thingy.
Dd doesn't live at home, but I've a feeling she needs Mum...
