Exactly that. Just out of the blue. First he asked me if I was off work, then if I would like to do something. I've offered a nice dog wall /lunch out, but think it's not often we get time just us, so wondered what to do. Ds1 isn't sure what he wants to do, just something. Just looking for inspiration really, any ideas mumsnetters?? ,

@BettySweaty

Hope you had a lovely day out.

Only just seen this. Am wondering what the OP's son had to confess, that was so bad it required a day out to soften the blow!

@nabilamirzaoneendita

You need to start your own thread. Maybe under the style and beauty section.

how did it go op? what did you end up doing? x

Lampzade · 10/06/2021 08:24

I don’t necessarily think that op’s ds has anything to ‘confess’, he may just be bored.
I presume that he has finished his GCSE assessments and is probably a bit bored and wants to spend some time with his mother
