Your DS shoe size

Hello everyone, first post here.
I bought DS13 (14 in February) some school shoes in August. Adults size 9.5, at the time I thought that was huge as he’d been a 7 the year before. He’s been complaining that his shoes are too small for a while now so we went to buy some yesterday. Came out with a size 11.5!
He’s just over 6ft so pretty tall, what about your sons? Surely 11.5 at 13yrs is just too big

My DS is only just 13 and has size 11.5 shoes. He's not six foot yet. They just have these massive growth spurts. It's normal.

My son is almost 13 and he is a 3! He is tiny though just reached 5ft, he has copd and I've been told the amount of steroids he has had have stunted his growth.

No such thing as too big!

DS1 is 15 and a size 10. He's 6ft1 and i think he might need his feet measuring again.

My ex husband is a size 17.

Well, the good news is that at 13 & over 6ft his feet probably won't grow much more. In my experience of teenage boys their feet grow before the rest of them, so they have that endearing gangly look for a while

My three are early 20s now. One is 6'2 & takes a size 11, the others are 6ft & 6'3 and wear a 10. If I remember correctly their feet had stopped growing by 13 or 14.

Oh that’s still really tall. DS was about 5’9 a month or two ago. If you don’t mind me asking, how much does he weigh? I’m worried about how skinny ds is after his spurt

DS (15) is 11.5-12 depending on shoe!
I hope his feet have finished growing, he’s over 6ft1.

13 and 5' isn't really tiny isn't? my ds is a lot smaller!

I guess he seems tiny to me when people think he's a twin with his 9yr old sister

DS is 13 1/2, just about 6ft this week, and a 10 1/2 shoe. He's got about another 5" to grow by estimates, but I'm hoping that his feet won't grow much more as both his dad and I have small feet for our heights

My ds has just turned 14 and is an 11, (12 in rugby boots) but they've stayed the same for well over a year, probably nearer 2.
I think it's common for the feet to grow first and then the rest to catch up - he's now 6'2" and has probably grown at least 6 inches in 12 months.

My 10yo is over 5 foot too, and a size 6 ( I can borrow his sliders and hiking boots - he won't let me near his trainers)

My 13.5yo is 5"7(ISH), 8st 7lbs and size 9 shoe.

He has sensory issues around food so doesn't eat anything healthy much though - his weight probably isn't the best measure for others!

I have a 16 year old who is 6 foot with size 11 feet and a 19 year old who is 6 foot 7 with size 15 feet!

Don’t worry @TiredTina, he probably won’t grown much more now. He will just fill out a bit as the hormones come in.

My 15 year old is 6’, size 11 feet and weighs 61kg. He’s been this height and shoe size for a year but has got broader on the back and chest.

DS is 12 5ft 5 with size 10 feet so I think size 11 at 6ft is not out of proportion.

My DS now wears two bathtubs to school everyday, but they are patent leather so no complaints.
