Not sure what to do really. My two aren't fussed about chocolate and boxed Easter eggs are such a swizz.

Mine will have an egg from each of us and she will buy us a egg each. It's rather nice. and she will have all of the sweets she's been stashing through Lent

Sparklingbrook · 29/03/2015 22:31

They will love that Red, that's really thoughtful and a bit different.

OYBBK DS1 is in Germany maybe he has got me one? Doubt it though. Sad

Mine are getting an egg each (were on offerWink)

They were reminiscing the other day about the egg hunts we used to do when they were smallSmile

Sparklingbrook · 29/03/2015 22:38

Are there any good offers? What did you get Tilly?

For the past few years mine get the offer of a fiver or an egg. This year the 13yo has picked an After Eight egg and the 15yo wants the fiver. They get eggs from both Grans and various Uncles and neighbours anyway.

A large egg n a tenner for my dd, along with an Easter outfit. Much easier than her younger years buying about 12 eggs n then trying to stop her eating them all in one go!

Redglitter · 29/03/2015 23:00

Thanks Sparkling it's cost a hell of a lot more than an egg but it's been fun doing.

I'm keeping it to give them when I take them away at Easter

Travelledtheworld · 30/03/2015 00:05

Mine want me to do them an Easter Egg hunt in the garden and hide plastic eggs filled with sweets. They are 14 and 16 !

AGirlCalledBoB · 30/03/2015 00:09

I'm 22, my mum and nan still buy me a Easter egg Blush

bigTillyMint · 30/03/2015 08:06

Sparkling, they are Galaxy - Indulgent XL or something, 2 4 1 IIRC - bought them a couple of weeks agoWink

Mrsjayy · 30/03/2015 08:13

Mine get an egg each and my mum will to. Usually asda has an offer on.

merlehaggard · 30/03/2015 08:19

My nephews are 21 and 23 and I've still bought them both Easter eggs, as I have my 21 year old daughter. They are all still in full time education though with no money and all really like chocolate, so I know that they appreciate it.

TrulyTurtles · 30/03/2015 08:25

There would be a riot chez Turtles if no eggs appeared. In fact ds2 is moving tomorrow and he's taking his with him. (He's 23)

SconessMcFloness · 30/03/2015 11:06

Eggs have been bought to avoid long faces.

Sparklingbrook · 30/03/2015 11:24

Right. I have been to the shops. The teens will now have a Smarties bunny £1.27 each, a bar of Galaxy £1 each, and a bag of Starmix £1 each. And a fiver each.

That'll do. Easter acknowledged. Smile

My dd has never gotten Easter eggs she hates chocolate and sweets so has always had a gift of her choice this year she's saved money up and I've put the rest towards some timberland boots

TheFallenMadonna · 30/03/2015 16:06

I have bought mine (11 and 13) an egg, or rather a Lindt Carrot and some chilli chocolates. I have also bough DH some marzipan eggs as he loves marzipan and I don't. He will have bought me an egg, and the DC will get us an egg each too, and one for each other... And they'll get them from grandparents... OK, that's quite a lot...

And we will have an Easter egg hunt too Blush

Sparklingbrook · 30/03/2015 17:28

There didn't seem a whole lot of Easter Egg offers on. I think I should have got them weeks ago when Tesco were doing buy 2 get 2 free or something.

Fallen I was watching some daytime telly and apparently Marzipan smells like Semtex (sp) and a woman got hauled off the plane when a sniffer dog smelt her luggage. She was taking it away to make a wedding cake.

Marzipan smells like Semtex? Really? Irrelevant fact maybe but still interesting!

Co-op were doing bogof yesterday on medium size eggs.

heronsfly · 01/04/2015 14:27
