Neck tattoo

I've put my deposit down for my neck tattoo.
I'm so excited.
It's going to be Mandala,dotwork and flowers.

I've been wanting one for ages,so today I just went for a consultation, liked her
Liked her work.
So just went for it.

They look hideous.

A neck tattoo is a great advertisement to warn me to avoid that person.

How is it advertising - the OP hasn't named the tattoo artist?

Can’t think of anything I’d like less than a big greeny / black picture on my neck.

Why do people come on to the tattoo section just to point out how much they hate tattoos? Do you also go on to the cat section and tell people you hate cats?

Sounds lovely, I’ve got a lotus flower on one side and roses across my throat and on the other side

I've heard a few people say neck tattoos, especially the throat area really hurt, did you find that to be accurate?

This, why on earth come onto a board about something you dislike just to criticise it?

This is the finished result.
I absolutely love it.
Got it finished last Monday.
And I have to say the side of the neck wasn't to bad.
But the lotus was much more painful than I expected.

That’s lovely OP. I have two sleeves and some leg pieces and wouldn’t personally do my neck or chest (I’ve done my shoulders near my chest though) and yours makes me think I could sit through it (no I couldn’t, I’m a baby now!)

This is my neck tattoo, got it last summer. The amount of people that now move out my way in the aisles of asda is great. Yours is looking good @OPhow did you find the healing process?

It's still healing but actually it's not painful or too itchy.

As much as I love tattoos (and I have several) a neck tattoo always screams "wrong un" to most folks. Think really carefully OP. It could have quite a negative impact on your life

I don't think it makes me more interesting.
And you couldn't be further than the truth about MH or low self esteem.
But at least I'm not judged about other people's choices.

It still tells you which section it’s in even when it’s in active. If it’s in the tattoo board it’s clearly going to be about tattoos, so if they hate them so much then why even click on the thread

I have no tattoos but do hate people so might have to actively get one done for this reason 😂

I get side eyed everywhere i go, security flag me the minute i walk in, but it's fine, ive nothing to hide so they can watch me all they like. Children tend to avoid me aswell so swings and roundabouts 😂
