Neck tattoo

I've put my deposit down for my neck tattoo.
I'm so excited.
It's going to be Mandala,dotwork and flowers.

I've been wanting one for ages,so today I just went for a consultation, liked her
Liked her work.
So just went for it.

No tattoos at all but yesterday the stunningly beautiful girl behind the bar at the pub had a lovely coloured neck one. There was a lotus and entwined roses and it really looked lovely IMO.

I'm interested to hear pps say they are treated differently by security etc. Maybe it's where I live but neck and face tattoos are so common that I can't imagine people really taking much notice. (South East, by the coast). I'll admit though the first time I saw a chest and neck tattoo on a woman in 2010 (in the labour ward at the hospital where I had DS1 which is how I remember the date so accurately) I was quite surprised by it.

My son has one and says it was the most itchy one during the healing process.

What's the plan for the next tattoo?

This was supposed to be my last.

OP and @StickyspringchickenWOW!! Look at you two! They are just beautiful, love them. I'd have one but my neck and upper chest are like crepe paper! I'll stick with having them done on the last few wrinkle free places left that haven't got tats on!

I do smile when people announce their dislike of ink, it's really cute that they think their opinion MUST be heard 🥰

Cute but probably has interesting psychology behind it too, like were they ignored a fair bit when they'd put their hand up in class when they were 7 years old so they just blurt stuff out that they will obviously be aware has no effect, type thing.

It's actually wild how people will come on a thread like this for no reason other than to be nasty! The free speech / public post point is absolutely true, but surely basic manners dictate that if you don't have anything nice to say, you don't say anything at all? So spiteful and unnecessary.

I'd never dare get a neck tattoo OP, you're very brave! I can't imagine putting so much trust in someone. I only have tattoos on my arms and I was terrified getting each of them! It looks fab on you :)

I like it, wouldn’t suit me but I like them on others.

Got it done on Monday, I really love it.
It was really painful in some areas.
