Sorry: Uncultured twat here...I had to google him and am still not really any wiser. Sad when anyone dies young though.

And... are you sure? Only a facebook page carries that!

Aph413 · 27/03/2019 09:03

There's a lot of tweets about it too from his coworkers and people tattooed by him. Although I've not seen any news articles on him yet.

FFS. There are some wankers on here! If you don’t know him, fine! But you don’t have to come on and make dickhead comments. The man was obviously liked and respected by the OP, so why the hell can’t you show some respect for how they’re feeling, whether or not they knew him personally.

TheFaerieQueene · 27/03/2019 09:22

There are some fucking arseholes on here. I don’t know him, but he means something to the OP so much so they have started a thread.
Being unnecessarily unpleasant doesn’t make you clever it makes you a cunt.

dementedpixie · 27/03/2019 09:24

Was he on miami/LA ink?

NoiseWah · 27/03/2019 09:25

Yojiro "Yoji" Harada was a Japanese tattoo artist and musician who gained fame from his appearances in the TLC reality show Miami Ink.

From wikipedia.

dementedpixie · 27/03/2019 09:27

I used to watch that. I remember he was an apprentice at the start. Shame

1stTimeMama · 27/03/2019 09:30

I remember him on Miami Ink. His wife was pregnant, and they had a little girl called Sydney. 46 is no age, I can't find any info on what might've happened to him though.

VivaFrida · 27/03/2019 09:38

I am sorry to hear about this death and as somebody who is out of social media, I thank you for letting me know, OP.

"Being unnecessarily unpleasant doesn’t make you clever it makes you a cunt"

Totally agree.

DoulaDaisy · 27/03/2019 09:43

Ah that's said I remember watching Miami Ink and he was only an apprentice. 46 is no age.

R.I.P.

DoulaDaisy · 27/03/2019 09:43

sad, not said.

Purplecatshopaholic · 27/03/2019 09:48

I didnt watch his show, but he had a wife and daughter and was very young, so I feel very sorry for them and his family and friends

NappyDisco · 27/03/2019 09:50

The OP has put this in a pretty niche topic as it may well be of interest to people who are into tatoos. I really cant see the point of being an arsehole because you dont know who someone is.

contrary13 · 27/03/2019 09:52

I remember him from Miami Ink, too. He was only 2 or 3 years older than me, so that's absolutely no age! I think there was another child after his daughter, and then a divorce... but I remember the episode where he's holding his daughter in a butterfly house, and she was so small. He looked so happy, as did his then-wife (they married on the beach in another episode whilst she was heavily pregnant, if I remember rightly, with the other tattoists his best men, or something like that). Sad

dustarr73 · 27/03/2019 10:04

It's a bit like saying the bloke in the tat shop down the road died (he was on telly too!) Nobody will know who you mean! Fewer will truly care about a total stranger having died, no matter how young!

Nobody forced you to answer or to be so fucking rude either.

It doesnt say what he died from.

OP posts:
Cocolepew · 27/03/2019 10:07

Gosh that's young Sad, I remember him form Miami Ink.
Some asshole replies on here.

Hearhere · 27/03/2019 10:07

That's very sad, may he rest in peace
I remember him from Miami ink

SlothMama · 27/03/2019 10:10

I remember him, he seemed like a nice bloke. Whether he was well known or not it's sad when someone dies so young. So those insensitive posters should really rethink how they react to such sad news.

Oh no. So young. He was becoming really talented on MI. ☹️

pessimisticstateofperception · 27/03/2019 10:18

I remember him too. So sad that he's died so young.

To click into a posting a niche section of MN about someone in that area dying tragically young just to ask if your supposed to care is a real cunt move.

MummaJoJo · 27/03/2019 10:29

Such a talent taken far too soon. Strangely enough Lyle Tuttle has also died today. You probably will have to Google him but he was another tattooist. He pretty much set a president in the tattoo world to which many of us will always look towards.
Also; you don't have to know or care who these people are but there is no need to be so dismissive of a life.
