Are they actually on an elastic band, though, the Pandora bracelets?

They appear so.

NO, A NICE SILVER BRACELET WHICH CAN STAND ALONE ACTUALLY.

I am going to a 'private viewing' with a group of friends in a couple of weeks to look at/get pandora stuff.

dh got me a bracelet & some beads for my birthday last year. i love it - it's vv comfortable to wear & i change the beads around for different seasons. also, people like my mum buy me one or two beads for christmas/birthday - it gives them an 'easy' but not too expensive present that they know i'll love. planning on getting a leather strap either to use as a necklace or a second bracelet.

he asked me the other day if i'd like one of the gold bracelets - i think the heat must have got to him cos we NEVER spend that much on each other. (didn't arrive for my birthday though)

I quite like the look of those leather strap ones. I have a Links sweetie, which I love but I hardly wear it now as everyone seems to be wearing them which is daft really as all I have on it are my DCs initials, a heart that DH got for our anniversary and a 4 leaf clover that he got when I got laid off. I was planning on getting more charms and then eventually handing it down to DD on her wedding day/18th/21st/birth of first child or whatever. I'd like to get a few more wears our of it first though!

DH pointed this out to me yesterday though, it's quite nice and different to the usual one. Looks like you can put charms on it as well, not sure whether the silver ones would go though?

MrsMeow · 17/05/2010 17:52

Meant to say it's daft being put off wearing it because mine is so personal to me. That'll teach me for trying to cook dinner, shout DD in from playing out and help DS write a letter, as well as posting on here!

Money = old rope.

I really wanted one of these but as money was tight I got an imitation one which I love from the fitzbitz.org.uk website. Im addicted to buying charms for it now though but at least if I lose any then I know it didnt cost a fortune. Although I would still really love to be able to afford the real thing
