What fashion rules would you like to see enshrined in law?

Mine are:

Ankle boots do not go with everything! In fact they go with very little.

Denim skirts are always wrong.

I get your point, but none of my skirts look like that! Don't have the legs for the short one...!!

I wear denim skirts too, I have one straight cut mini (going out weekends), one mid thigh ength (daytime casual) and one knee length pencil skirt (work).

None of them look like those examples.

I also wear UGGS, sometimes with a denim skirt !!!

I also have a lovelinks charm bracelet (like Pandora) and I bloody love it so there!

i wear uggs with denim mini's as well!!! and i am NOT ashamed of that fact!

i do have good legs though...-smug emoticon-

Once you see the lollipop lady wearing it bootcut jeans,fleeces,ankle medium heeled boots,hair 'styles',tunics etc you really have to burn it oh and my ULTIMATE cringe any tops that are meant to look like layers but are actually stitched together

Noddy - I so agree with you on the layering issue. How fecking hard is it to layer your own clothes? I particularly hate the fake shirt with tank top/cardi combo. Who cannot put a cardi over a shirt??

Scrappy bins her entire wardrobe then realises that she'll break the rule over not exposing flesh when overweight so thinks stuff it.
Sorry I am of the 'stuff fashion as long as its comfy' brigade. What exactly is wrong with jeans, t-shirt, trainers and a fleece if its cold? Why is that so offensive??

quite simple - if you are comfortable and feel good in yourself and what you are wearing then that is what gives you style....otherwise we would all just be dolly the sheep!! enough said?!

Boot-cut jeans flapping round the ankles with those awful 'outward bounds' trainers and a zipped up fleece = combo most likely to make me cry.

Yep plantwoman its a definite no on the too short trousers and boots. Actually I'm not a fan of heeled boots under any trousers. But I think thats just me being a bit wierd.
