Glad it's worked for some of you [preens]. tough shit shame that it didn't suit others.

You know what? I think it's helped reduce my circles, I decided this last night. Anyone agree or am I deluded?

(drink had been taken)

Cocolepew - I wanted to tell you about Poundland's moisturiser, and thank you because if I hadn't seen Coco does Poundland I wouldn't have bought it.

Anyway, the anti wrinkle stuff is really good. Thick, but soaks in well and fine under foundation. Just as good as anything else I've tried. So thank you .

(I did nearly ask an assistant how much it was before I remembered I was in Poundland)

cocolepew · 14/02/2010 09:31

Oh good What's it called?

I was going to do a second in the series, 'Ethel Austin-WTF?' but now they're going bust . We've only had one for a couple of months.

Something like DermaV Anti Wrinkle - really cheap and nasty looking grey pot and packaging, but tis very good.

cocolepew · 14/02/2010 11:12

Thanks

I bought this too ..it's fab!
I think it's the lightness of it that I like best, other under eye concealors are too thick and emphasise lines and dryness.
Dd also loves it unfortunately.

MadameOvary · 14/02/2010 12:53

It is okay if I put on an under-eye moisturiser first, otherwise it looks awful.
I do love the feel of the (metal?) ball, so cool on the eye area!

thelunar66 · 14/02/2010 13:32

How do you know which shade to buy though? Do you try the tester on the back of your hand, your wrist or what?

I am not a foundation wearer, so have no experience of how to match make up to skin tone.

purplepeony · 14/02/2010 13:47

I'd still recommend Bobbi Brown cream concealer for under eye shadows- it's great. They also do an under, eye-under eye concealer to use before the concealer if you need double strength though I haven't bought it yet.

SkipToMyLou · 14/02/2010 16:47

Flippin' 'eck, it does work! I have unbelievably thin skin round my eyes, you can kind of see the veins under it (bleugh!) so I have blue panda eyes. No more! UNFRICKINGBELIEVABLE!

Oh, and the broken veins in the creases either side of my nose - hidden. And it doesn't clump in my pores either!

Best £9.99 of Boots points I ever spent, thanks!!

cocolepew · 14/02/2010 18:44

lunar they have swatches to match up your skin tone, they only have 2 or 3 shades, to pick from, so it's not too hard. I always go for the palest because I have the pallor of a zombie. The pale one is still ok even though I'm fake tanning.

cocolepew · 14/02/2010 19:39

Cyb · 14/02/2010 19:48

I ahve tried EVERYTHING for my humdingers.

pardonnez moi if I am une petite sceptique a ce moment la

SrStanislaus · 14/02/2010 19:50

Would this work on Asian skin with very very dark under eye areas?

SkipToMyLou · 14/02/2010 20:51

Honest Cyb, I know what you mean, if I hadn't been looking in the mirror while I did it I wouldn't have believed it. I am seriously impressed! My general posting tone tends to be cynical and jaded, or just plain looney, so for me to agree with something and join the fuss is quite something.

Cyb · 14/02/2010 20:53

Ok SOLD to the wonky eyed woman with the blue veins and black pockets
