StellaLovesPotato · 31/01/2010 19:33

Oooooh why do I live so far from Tesco?!

NanBullen · 31/01/2010 19:49

now then are you talking proper dark circles like mine? hmmm?

foxinsocks · 31/01/2010 19:53

what sort of colour comes out of the pen?

spikemomma · 31/01/2010 19:55

ah man, that made me laugh, you pudding!

wuglet · 31/01/2010 20:00

It comes in 3 shades - fair, medium and dark.
Was pondering it in Boots yesterday then thought....nah.
Wish I had bought it now!

foxinsocks · 31/01/2010 20:02

ah excellent, thanks wuglet

I have the most horrendous dark circles. My bags have bags who have bags. Grandchildren bags basically.

I shall seek some out tomorrow (if they haven't sold out everywhere!).

spikemomma · 31/01/2010 21:21

Mine are rubbish. Year's ago my aunty thought i had two black eyes.

And she's a nurse.

Doomed.

monkeysmama · 01/02/2010 08:45

Why is the woman in the before photo grinning ?

LightLyric · 01/02/2010 08:51

Looks good. Shame it's a L'Oreal product so no can do.

Callisto · 01/02/2010 08:54

I've found Champney's eye-bag reducer is very good. Just got it recently, it comes in one shade and you just paint it on. Excellent coverage, blends really, really well with no tide line and it is on offer at Sainsbo's atm for about £2 (usually a tenner I think).

itsmeolord · 01/02/2010 15:12

Oh ok, will tell other half I have to give up work, it's on account of me eyes see? Yes guv, mumsnet told me to, no guv, wouldn't jump off a cliff guv....

KristinaM · 01/02/2010 16:05

i have boots points so looks tempting

but i think i'm too tired to do anything with a young man

is the young man compulsory?

brimfull · 01/02/2010 16:10

never realised it was a concealor as well

thought it was like a coffee for your bags and thus utter shite

cocolepew · 01/02/2010 16:38

It's Garnier not L'Oreal, are they the same?

Young men not compulsory, just an incentive.

4 people told me I looked well today . One of them was me but I think that still counts.

brimfull · 01/02/2010 16:38

yes garnier is owned by l'oreal

MillyR · 01/02/2010 20:06

I have been to Boots and bought one.

It works.

It is better than Touche Eclat and Boing. The reason it works is because of the little metal ball that rolls it on. Apart from blending a little at the edges, you don't need to pat or blend in the liquid because the ball distributes it evenly. I have always been rubbish at the patting thing.

The liquid is thin- so Boing might still be better or really dark circles.

Mine had a sticker on the front saying 'fair skin tones' so presumably it comes in more than one shade.

MillyR · 01/02/2010 20:07

That should have been 'better ON really dark circles.'

kateecass · 01/02/2010 21:18

I have terrible dark circles at the mo. I'd heard that dark circles can be from not drinking enough water. Something to do with the liver and toxins. I've been drinking hardly any water in this cold weather so there could be something in it.

I might give this a go too cos I don't think drinking water by itself is gonna get rid of my panda eyes.

LargeGlassofRed · 01/02/2010 22:32

went to tesco today non there anyone bought it from tesco?

BelleDameSansMerci · 01/02/2010 22:38

coco - I'll be getting this tomorrow. My skin is so pale, I'm pretty much light blue and the dark shadows are a permanent fixture these days.

I had the Garnier eye refresh thingy version of this (the green one) and it works really well.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

GooberHasBookedHerHols · 01/02/2010 22:38

Don't they sell it in Poundland?
I don't want it then. Humph!

Supergem · 01/02/2010 22:40

I use Boing with a bit of Touche Eclat on top - works a treat. Might check this out for good measure though
