Ah, well I only read the first and last page- I know this is frowned upon but I have work to do, and somethings gotta give!

Hulababy · 20/01/2010 15:08

UQD - but Dh likes wearing a suit for work. He refers having a suit than having to chose somethng different to wear. He also does an entirely different type of job, one which doesn't involve painting and sticking, and balancing on your heels on on a tiny little chair working with 5 year olds. If I had a job like DH's then yes, I;d wear a suit or proper office type wear.

sexynat, you want another forum (sexeeladeezforteenageboyz.com perhaps) because this is the wrong one, you twat.

BaronessBarbaraKingstanding · 20/01/2010 15:18

No but I have got my clean but blood stained chunky pants on cos I think my period is due.

Or, is that not what you were hoping for?

Now my post looks extremely incongruous.

To reassure all it is not a comment on suitable teacher attire.

GetOrfMoiLand · 20/01/2010 15:36

Lol Baroness I thought it was funny and in context.

God knows what that knobber posted but hope they are long gone.

RocheMoutonee · 20/01/2010 16:27

hah what did he post?

Clayhead · 20/01/2010 16:38

ds's teacher wore a skirt like this today and she looked lovely!

GetOrfMoiLand · 20/01/2010 16:39

Lol - his first post was 'I like any hot ladies in denim skirts lol', his second was 'have you got hot panties on xxx' or something, god knows what he posted after I called him a twat, perhaps Baroness knows.

Just goes to show, you never bloody know. How excited some people get thinking about teachers in denim. It's all those statement necklaces, gets them going I tellya.

largeginandtonic · 20/01/2010 16:59

Just so you know ds (he was 5 i think) came home from school once and said he didn't like his teacher because she "wore too much lipsticks"

Don't think the denim skirt would bother him.

I have that skirt, tis nice.

OmicronPersei8 · 20/01/2010 17:00

I once had a pupil's uncle lear at me and say 'that jumper looks very tight on you miss'. He was very creepy - he once called me darling too. And that was the school where I always dressed smartly. urgh.

largeginandtonic · 20/01/2010 17:01

LOL at sexynat. What a name

LastTrainToGeneva · 20/01/2010 17:29

Baroness LOL at your now incongruous post. Best post I've read all week

BaronessBarbaraKingstanding · 20/01/2010 17:38

I missed his second post too Getorf.

Damn-those MN censors are on fire these days!

overmydeadbody · 20/01/2010 17:49

what's the concensus on TAs then? Should they dress as professionally as the teachers or are they allowed to be more casually dressed?

RocheMoutonee · 20/01/2010 18:31

Thye must wear Mom trousers

Cyb · 20/01/2010 18:34

I AM A (HL)TA WHo refuses to wear TA clothes

Hulababy · 20/01/2010 19:01

I dress no different to the teachers at school. I dress no different now, as a TA, as I did when I was teaching.

None of our TAs dress any differently to the teachers.

largeginandtonic · 21/01/2010 09:23

My sister is a TA.

She wears fairly smart stuff i suppose. Apart from her shoes. She wears those trainer pumps in winter and flip flops as soon as the temp gets above 12 degrees.

spugs · 31/01/2010 18:51

Im a teacher in an infant school and we recently had a dress code passed around that we had to sign. Said we had to be smart, clean!, no denim, no trainers, no excessive facial piercing and something along the lines of no tits or thigh on display .

For school I always wear black or grey trousers and long sleeved shirts or tops as I have tattoos on my forearm. I also have a tongue piercing but I wear clear jewelry in it so its never been spotted.

I wouldn't be allowed to wear that skirt to school and tbh when you spend a lot of time bending down and crawling around on the floor a skirt is not ideal any way.
