Tracey Cox, sex expert on This Morning yesterday said we should all be sleeping nude. I've just bought this Is it too much?

Mind you, me wrestling with them naked would probably more punishment than the criminal justice system could offer.

displayuntilbestbefore · 16/01/2010 22:15

If I run at them I can knock them, and any other filchering bystanders flying. If I was in my PJs the effect wouldn't be so impressive

nigglewiggle · 16/01/2010 22:20

YES. I never thought about the possibility of lassooing two burglars at once - one with each of my low swinging norks .

I really haven't thought this through.

NomDePlume · 16/01/2010 22:31

feelingoptimistic - nno, I don't get cold. I sleep with the window opwn a crack (even in winter, I get headaches if I don't) and the heating is off during the night.

I do have a high tog duvet (13.5) and I have an electric blanket to pre-warm the bed on cold nights but it gets switched off as soon as I get in. Both DH and I warm blooded (well were human so obviously but you know what I mean) so we overheat quite easily.

MrsMattie · 16/01/2010 22:34

Primark 'silk' PJs when it's cold.

Nekkid the rest of the time.

Primark fleecey jimmy trousers, vest top and thermal socks

DH sleeps naked but I feel the cold. I have to have an extra cover on my half of the bed aswell to keep warm!

blossoming · 18/01/2010 12:41

The ck nightshirt arrived and it is gorgeous and silky smooth. I'm impressed so many of you sleep naked, but I do feel the cold, and also, my ds comes in to wake me up around 6, and I'd feel a bit strange if I was naked. [justification emoticon]

Fleecy (currently hush) pyjamas for 3/4 of the year and then thinner cotton ones the rest of the time (in the alleged summer).

If I sleep with nothing or just a top I get bad dreams about exposing myself in public .

Also I find my eczema itches if skin touches skin iyswim.

I also have 2 fairly unreliable sleepers so wandering around at night with nothing on is not a viable option.

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2010 14:18

I wear pajamas and have a lot of lovely pairs bought for me by DP mainly from Gap and Victoria's Secret. I got a fab new pair from Jack Will for Christmas though. I like to have two tops with them - one long sleeved and one vest. In summer I wear shorts pajamas. I can't bear not having something at least on top.

CantSupinate · 18/01/2010 14:25

I have wanted to reveal this for ages...
To bed, even in summer, I wear 3 sets of PJs, or else I wear 1 set PJs with 1xthick fleecy jogger bottoms on legs, and still 3 layers on top and on my feet.

And I have to wear a hat.

I also have 3 med. tog duvets.

And yes over the night I take layers off but you'd be amazed how many hours elapse before I overheat. I am officially the most cold-blooded person on the planet, and yet I can't sleep at all if the bedroom isn't fairly cool.

DH sleeps in the nud in a freezing cold room (lots of practical reasons why we don't currently bedshare, not least our different temperature needs!)

PoppityPing · 18/01/2010 14:52

jamais, I'm the same with eczema, really need something especially on my legs and I hate wearing things in bed. I'm always on the lookout for extra thin extra stretchy jersey pyjamas!

BigTillyMint · 18/01/2010 14:56

Nothing - if DH is in the bed it's like a furnace, LOL

I hate sleeping naked, so either vest and pants or a jersey nighty like the one you linked.

On cold nights I like a long sleeved top and silky pj bottoms.

MayorNaze · 18/01/2010 15:03

tshirt and pants. clean pants though. and then put on a fresh pair for the day.

the dcs are not allowed to sleep in pants because they would wear the same pair all week and i have enough to do without monitoring pant wearage as well.

Cats-why?? i used to sleep in a tracksuit with socks and a bobblehat but i was in a tent in october at the time...

MayorNaze · 18/01/2010 15:03

CantS that should've been

mamazon · 18/01/2010 15:05

birthday suit. i have PJs for lazing about and for when i get out of bed. and then my big fluffy dressing gown.

but for sleeping im nekkid.

Pineapplechunks · 18/01/2010 15:08

Nothing. Can't stand anything on my legs, I need freedom!

BettyButterknife · 18/01/2010 15:18

I used to sleep naked, pre-DC, but my DS was a rubbish sleeper and I'd get nippy standing over his cot stroking his back when I was in the buff.

So now it's PJs for me, and I'm used to them - would feel weird sleeping naked again.

DH always wears PJ botts, but is rubbish at buying them for himself. He had to throw his last pair in the bin - Calvin Klein ones - as they were so raggedy. He currently sports a fetching pink and white pair of mine

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/01/2010 15:25

Nothing. I can't bear to, I would feel strangulated.

If it is freezing cold I will wear socks only. Yes, I do look glamorous. No, I wouldn't wear them for sex.

I sleep in room with the heating off and a window open but I still get hot in teh night and feel suffocated so get all hot and sticky.

This is why I change my sheets every day.

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/01/2010 15:26

DH wears nowt as well.

DD wears bras to bed, with PJ bottoms. Madness.
