vitalumiere-WHY DID NO+ONE TELL ME BEFORE????

DarrellRivers · 14/01/2010 15:30

Well, I suspect I had read it on some threads
I thought I knew better, had my mac foundation, felt on trend blah blah blah
(Had noticed skin looking drier however when put said foundation on)
Sample of vitalumiere in fash mag
Tried this morning, had bought my first pack by 130pm
It is so so so so good
Lovely colour, great coverage, and my skin feels and looks dewy
I am deliriously happy
(am going to keep my new visage a secret from my RL friends so I look dewier and younger than them-does that make me a bad bad person?)

What was the cheaper foundation on the other thread from last week? - Maybelline or Loreal or sommat?

Am SAHM and would like cheaper on for days of Tesco/soft play, and nice on for dates with Jose Muhrinio best?

Double Wear yellow as well, plus found it v difficult to put on as texture like PVA glue.

You lot don't know (or care ) how difficult it is to find pinky toned foundations.

Ooh Jose Mourinho

I bought a book about Jose once from the Book People just because I fancy him. WAS HUGELY pissed off when it arrived as it had no pictures, and that's all I wanted (didn't actually want to read about portuguese football fgs).

Pink Blue? How can you be pink blue? Are you a cadaver in CSI?

Ohh I need a recommendation now.

I have combination skin which is oilier for one week in every month.

ID minerals I like for oily times but have just run out and I agree with another thread that it makes you look a bit corpse like on dry skin days.

Had planned to have a go with the Chanel but now not sure. What do you think ladies?

Will it be the miricle I've been waiting for as it was with OP. I need to get it right as getting spliced during oily week next month!

Ooh yes Chantecaiile - I did actually want that when I went into Space NK however the saleswoman said that Chantecaille was also too yellow. Will try again then (I like Chantecaille packaging v much).

chantecaille also v expensive though. GOML, is not bunions, is arthritis, and agree re By Terry, have you tried the purple stick/pen thing? It is like a fat Touche eclat, that is brill, but too expensive for me while not working. (£45)

Ooh, it is lush, although I stick to Estee Lauder Daywear plus for the summer months.
I have dry skin though - and I suppose more yellow in tone than pink.
Now please, please can anybody help me and recomment a really good cheapish (c.£10) tinted moisturiser for my ummm dryish yellow skin (sounds lovely does it not)?
Just an everyday sort of thing? I am using olay touch of moisturiser at the mo but it's rubbish as too pink/pale... any ideas?

Olay touch of foundation I mean

Sky blue - I don't know about the purple pen but I have got Touche velouté which is like a fat silvber touche eclat - it is better than touche eclat as it hides the dark circles rather than highlights them.

I had a sample of l'oreal visible lift which i was impressed with, not really suitable for my oily t-zone but very nice if you have dryer skin I would say

that sounds quite exciting ggirl, thank you - will give it a whirl.
I used to use Dr Hauschka tinted moisturiser and while I love their rose or quince day creams, this one just seemed to be a funny, thick texture and slightly putty coloured. I am obsessed by the perfect tinted moisturiser, always on a quest (as don't really wear foundation as such).

Oh I am pale to pinky, celtic colouring i think
Vitalumiere clair smooths out the pinkiness and leaves me looking pale and luminescent
Deffo good for the touch of dry of skin

I am lusting after the By Terry Rose moisturiser, but that was when I was first trimester crazy about roses.
Daren't go into Space NK, feel the need for some Darphin serum and moisturiser, which will set me back about £100.
Am keen to spend the dollars this year, and look tip top.
However, hate it when the bills come in

I also love/hate going into Space NK as always buy such lovely things which set me back £££s.

Caudalie stuff my fave at the moment, as well as kiehls abyssine moisturiser which has really high SPF.

Space NK marvellous really, when i pay I always ask for a bagful of free samples, so have loads of goodies to play with for ages.

Caudalie is lovely too. I think it's a worthwhile investment to spend money on skin, esp in this weather. Vital(umiere) even

Roland (that just makes me think of Grange Hill!) - yes, I totally forgot about that BB balm - gorgeous stuff, almost smelt medicated but in a nice way?
Not sure why I stopped using it.. why no good for winter though?
