vitalumiere-WHY DID NO+ONE TELL ME BEFORE????

Well, I suspect I had read it on some threads
I thought I knew better, had my mac foundation, felt on trend blah blah blah
(Had noticed skin looking drier however when put said foundation on)
Sample of vitalumiere in fash mag
Tried this morning, had bought my first pack by 130pm
It is so so so so good
Lovely colour, great coverage, and my skin feels and looks dewy
I am deliriously happy
(am going to keep my new visage a secret from my RL friends so I look dewier and younger than them-does that make me a bad bad person?)

I have clair and have red hair and am fair but not pink toned really.I like it but only with blusher

the shade was the right one for my colour skin (tested a few on my jaw and 'Clair' was best match)but the actual colour was too yellowy in tone for my pink & white (and wrinkly) skin. Does that make sense?

was it the wrong colour maybe?
it makes me look so much better - occasionally entrtain myself with doing hlaf of my face to compare

I manage to get a sample from a hatchet faced assistant in John Lewis who was v.v. reluctant to give it to me (looked too poor and scruffy to be serious) and I came home all excited.

Doomed to failure tho' as it looks TERRIBLE on my pink toned skin. I resembled not a dewy faced siren but rather like a lump of gristle or someone recently embalmed

What a bloody disappoinment..Blinc mascara was rubbish as well

I have revived this as I tried a sample from a mag and it is just what i have been looking for!I tried it a few years ago and it looked too glossy but this one is great.I wanted something to wear with no other make up on eyes etc and this is perfect.Colour clair and I have red hair and this is lovely

Sorry, don't agree.

The lightest shade is too dark for me and the texture is too dewy- makes me look shiny.
I much prefer Clinique Repair Wear foundation- have used it for ages now.

It has great coverage and goes on semi matte but is totally non drying. It is described as a treatment as well as make up. LAsts all day. It's the best I have ever used. Previously had Dewy Smooth and Soft Finish by Clinique but both were too dark even in the palest shade.

The Cargo Lash Activator mascara is the best - I didn't believe the sunday times woman that it would actually nurture your eyelashes and make them longer with continued use.

But it does. My lashes now touch my eyebrows when curled - no lash extensions needed here

It's not as obvious as Dior Show/Sisley etc so use it in daytime and then use the thickening ones for night. The difference then is that after a month of daytime use you will have properly thick lashes.

Vitalumiere in naturale. I have olive skin and beige was too orange for me. I have been using it for about 5 years. I have tried samples from many premium brands eg sisley, la prarie, lancome and nothing comes close.

I use an amazing collagen moisturiser by Sisley underneath and my skin looks amazing. Only need a thin layer for it to make a difference.

I find the cream version too rich. My mum uses it and it suits her - maybe be better for older skin?

I have Dior Show (the waterproof one) and ysl faux cil which I've used for ages. Both very good & hard to choose between. The YSL one gets better after a few uses. I'd probably choose it over Dior but only just. The Dior one feels glossier to apply & 1-2 swipes & maximum lash lift is achieved. It dries quick (tho maybe waterproof one) & subsequent swipes are futile. YSL on the other hand takes 3-4 swipes for big day lashes but 5-6 swipes make very big evening lashes-bigger than Dior but less natural.

I used the YSL foundation last year after being won away from my usual (biotherm) one by advertising & MN. I have gone back to my old one now as I too found too much came out & it gave me bad tide marks despite being a good colour match.
