expensive charity shops (esp Help the Aged in St Clements, Oxford which is fabulous)

milletts and Go Outdoors

M&S with increasing reluctance - show me some love Marks, I bloody funded you for years and these days there's just nothing i even want

so as a result I was blooded at the Boden stadium sale this year

I have a cardi from M&S and a shirt from Jigsaw but they wouldn't be on my "go to" list for shopping generally.

used to love Monsoon but the last 3 years their stuff has been crapola quality and wtf are their designers taking these days??

I'll buy stuff from anywhere if I like it. I'd be interested to know where these good charity shops are - the ones round here (Durham) seem to stock only old ladies coats and high waisted jeans from the 1990's.
I'm 26

tethersend · 31/10/2009 13:48

Ebay. For everything. I love vintage stuff.

I'm 32.

(And intergalactic, old ladies' coats and high waisted jeans are so in right now... I'm coming to Durham )

sandy80 · 26/11/2009 21:59

Hi tigerbear,

Did you get the Burberry sample sale invitation this Nov/Dec 2009?

Sandy

feedthegoat · 26/11/2009 22:08

I'm 33.
Everyday things are generally Debenhams, H&M, Next, Tesco, Gap or TK Maxx though like Animal and Saltrock for summer tops.
Ted Baker for rare night out things.
Debenhams or Monsoon for dresses.
Jeans are usually Dorothy Perkins
