Knee high boots for skinny legs....

FabMum1 · 21/10/2009 13:39

I am desperately trying to find some lovely flat knee high boots in black.

I know Duo do some lovely ones, but at the moment I really can not afford them.

Can anyone suggest anywhere else ?

Oh ladies why can't buying boots in calf sizes be a little easier.

Have been out again today looking for boots but nothing, all make me look like I'm wearing wellies!

I am 31cm at the very widest bit of my calf. I have no hope of finding boots, do I?

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 17:52

Oh my word

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 17:53

Duo go down to a 30

cocolepew · 22/10/2009 17:55

Cybil you have boots?!?

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 18:00

Ohhh yes my friend, sort of by default and NOT really what I thought I was looking for but I've worn 'em now so I can't take them back.

Should I organise some sort of fly past do you think, just to let everyone know?

cocolepew · 22/10/2009 18:06

It at least deserves it's own thread.

I've just read The Parenting News but it wasn't mentioned.

Maybe you'll make the Roundup.

bodycolder · 22/10/2009 19:00

coco don't tempt me.

I fear it may be old news now though...I bought them at the weekend (didn't you feel the seizmic shift?) and ummed and ahh'd.

cocolepew · 22/10/2009 19:11

I'd read that you'd bought them but thought you were taking them back.

I'm too scared to measure my calf.

SofaQueen · 22/10/2009 19:11

I have the same problem. I find that the elasticy one to be good, and some French labels, one in particular has notoriously narrow boots, but costs ££££££ (Hermes). Also try lace-ups.

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 19:12

I WAS going to take them back till I tried on with skinny jeans and felt they were ok. I now need more skinny jeans.

CybilEngineer · 22/10/2009 19:13

I am wanting this to wear with new boots and skinnies which is a trifle dull but veh useful to cover giant bottom

MacaroonIncident · 22/10/2009 19:14
