Oi PV!

Which Duo boots did you get?

The WORLD is waiting....

PVish · 04/10/2009 21:05

ah
i got talamore.
the ox st branch has a fitting rom" service where you try em on then they POST you yours and FRIGGING charge you for it. Its a bit like argos charaging you to get it from teh warehouse.

I am hoping they arent too high for short skrits - assistant and rl mate said not.
i loved them in rl - much less placcy looking than on site and two assistants said they were their faves( adn it worked on mn )

lots of HUGE calves and teeny tiny ones. the celano over the knee ones are very very nice on ,in fact all of the boots look so much nicer when they FIT - the leather looks so much better

also toyed with pavia but the talamore are SO LONG so for me with longer legs where knee lentght boots often finnish at upper calf, they loked great - are 40 cm long

OP posts:
PVish · 04/10/2009 21:06

that was supposed to read "( and it worked on ME )"

not on mn
altho on that too

Oh yes, Talamore are lush.

Have only ever been to London branch, so thought the paying and posting thing was the norm [gullible].

The looks on the larger ladies' faces when they do the zip up for the first time is nice isn't it?

CybilLiberty · 04/10/2009 21:22

Ah, Talamore eh? Whats the story in Talamorey wouldn't you like to know

WailingGhoshe · 04/10/2009 21:36

scroobiuspirate · 05/10/2009 09:14

saw a great longline shirt, mens style in peacocks the other day, but am afraid that on my 5 ft 3 it would look just like a long mans shirt!!!

scroobiuspirate · 05/10/2009 09:16

that cord skirt, looks good. would it suit my pear shape? Am thinking it might, cos it would give nice line? Am desp to get a skirt i feel good in, to show off my boots. I have lots of boots but nooone would ever know as i always wear jeans.

Blackduck · 05/10/2009 09:24
