That Natural Shoe Store website is really odd -you have those gorgeous Frye boots alongside freaky footwear straight from the pages of the Elves and the Shoemaker

CybilLiberty · 01/10/2009 20:42

I'm a Taurean but I would never wear those

pointydoug · 01/10/2009 20:51

pointydoug · 01/10/2009 20:54

you'd look like you had barnacles growing on your feet

cornsilk · 01/10/2009 21:09

Why are M and S boots so cheap? I don't want to look again - I might buy some.

CybilLiberty · 01/10/2009 21:13

I've been to Zara, and whilst the front part of the shop reminded me of Kate Adies' wardrobe circa 1984 (I mean how many pussycat bow blouses are necessary) the back part of the shop was fab.

Dd(14) bought loads of things I wish I was young enough/thin enough for (birthday money)

At least she has inherited her mothers immaculate taste

Blackduck · 04/10/2009 15:03

I don't know about anything having changed here (thou' I did buy a nice, shortish cord skirt last week), however, shock, horror, I went to put on a pair of trousers today and I could barely get thme over my thighs so either A. I have shrunk them (preferred solution) B. A strict diet is in the offing,....

Blackduck · 04/10/2009 18:11

Decided to step on the scales....
bugger its B. Diet here I come....
So no carbs, alcohol, chocolate, cheese, cake round here for a while

I bought another chunky bracelet in a different colour. I am into bracelets, for the first time in about 25 years.

Think I am too young to be an Old Fucker though thread is inviting (am 36)

I am excited about dressing for work tomor. Have a black smocky frocky to wear with teal tights (get me!) and teal-y beads. Plus plateform maryjanes.

I will be here complaining tomorrow night that none of the pupils said I look nice.

sassy · 04/10/2009 20:39

Yikes - is this a Good Housekeeping thread? Am def too young for that

PVish · 04/10/2009 20:44

sassy
you neeed to NOT dress for the kids.

OP posts:
sassy · 04/10/2009 20:48

Ah. True. And I dress for me...but ain't it nice when one of the little buggersbeauties pays you a compliment?

PVish · 04/10/2009 21:00

yes until you look at what they consider to be "nice "in their own clothes
