I bought this today and DH has told me it looks cheap and tacky.

It was for the dining room. I drove miles to buy it.

I've taken it down. I'm barly speaking to him.

So what wouldn't look cheap and tacky and ridiculous in my dinding room???

My DH does this to me occaisionally, I fear there is no hope for it, may as well return it and choose something he will be happier about.

Hmm, I think it would depend on the context of the room, but I wouldn't have paid that much for it.

Don't like the M&S one - too clinical.
