£2.50 thats cheap

But I don't WANT big hair, I'd prefer not to look like a knob-end thank you

If you do't think you look like a knob-end you have to post a link to how your hair ends up

LilyAllensThirdNipple · 12/07/2009 17:24

I like big hair, vair slimming

MrsBadger · 12/07/2009 17:37

my hair goeth not big, it is (like Flibberty's) v fine with a wave

so straightening it takes out what little volume it had

moussing the roots and blowdrying upside down (v 80s) brings it into the Normal range

adding velcro rollers nudges it towards Gloss and Bounce without anywhere near approaching Big

coppola · 12/07/2009 17:42

I have thick hair - I did this once and it looked like that terrible sixties do J-Lo did ages ago

not a good look

ChippyMinton · 13/07/2009 10:36

If you have a POB bung them in at the back to lift the crown. Backcomb it a little as well, then spray.

moonmother · 13/07/2009 10:47

Asda had packs of 6 or 8 (can't quite remember) large rollers of £5, not long ago.

MamaLazarou · 13/07/2009 10:48

They are very good for straightening out curly hair without having to resort to damaging tongs.

I put mine in damp hair, bung a hair net over the top and waft the hairdryer around a bit on a cool setting.

DH thinks they look dead sexy (he is weird).

VietnameseCobbler · 13/07/2009 10:51

I might get a curlign tong

MamaG · 13/07/2009 10:53

bleh · 13/07/2009 13:50

I actually did this yesterday, and hair was lovely, but it doesn't last long. Last week, after my haircut, the hairdresser even frikkin' straightened the ends with a GHD (to see if he had cut straight), and thanks to the rain and my hairs general stubbornness, it was wavy within about two minutes.

What do you use to stop it collapsing (rather fine, stubborn as hell hair).

VietnameseCobbler · 13/07/2009 13:55

did oyu use ELnett,true 80s emotico>

bleh · 13/07/2009 14:14

VietnameseCobbler · 13/07/2009 14:16
