my poor dh has incredibly big calf muscles (like beach balls)
3/4 length minimise these. Shorts make him look like a freak.

if my man looked like that Next model in the link lower down I wouldn't care what he wore

Noooo mollyroger. DH also big-calved. Cropped trousers look awful. You need to see the whole calf, or none at all.

I like both kinds on dh as long as they're a heavy weight material but he has muscular legs. Skinny, v white legs in those slighty pointed white gola trainers, with obligatory tattoo are horrible I agree.

Sorry my dh looks love in his 3/4 length trousers. So there :-P

Yes they do and I am answering purely on the fact our neighbour does it and I hate him.

Not that I would be seen dead in cropped trousers though. Full length trouser or knee length short there is no in between for men.

My thoughts entirely seeing crimes against fashion committed in various parts of Snowdonia (as an aside, only in the UK would you get a chap dressed like this jostling for room with someone wearing huge puffa jacket, walking boots and woolly hat.

Beta is right too of course. Some women shouldn't be allowed to leave the house. Amount of blubber on show in revealing outfits is criminal.Have peopel no sense of dignity?

Cropped trousers should never be worn by women either. Unless it's Grace Kelly and cigarette pants. I mean what is the point? They aren't flattering on ANYONE and it's not like your ankles get sweaty and need the air.

cropped trousers are hideous on men - i totally agree.

Shorts or linen trousers are perfect for looking and staying cool.

knee length shorts much better then cropped trousers definately.

I disagree with the flip flop thing though, my DH has ok(ish) feet, but if he didn't wear his flip flops he'd wear his trainers down the beach which is much worse IMO.

Bleugh to cropped trousers - makes you look like the lead singer of Erasure!

And these sandals - here - they should also be banned on the male of the species over 6 years old - men with ankle straps - it just looks soooooooooooooo wrong!

Stylish enclosed leather sandles or plimsoles are good with shorts - just in case anyone is having doubts.
