Looking for a unicorn pair of winter boots

Hello S&B experts. I live in trainers but find them a bit cold sometimes in winter. I am looking for flat boots to wear but I think I have ruined my ability to wear anything except trainers. My feet have got used to the lightweight “spongy” feel of trainers so even flat boots feel heavy and and hard on my soles like walking on planks of wood (if that makes sense!)

I have a pair of old classic Timberlands that I really like but they feel very heavy to wear if I was to walk around in them for more than an hour.

So anyone got suggestions for flat boots that feel lightweight-ish, are warm, feel padded and springy and look stylish??

Think boots to wear with jeans that I could walk about town for a couple of hours in. Everything I see online are just those Paver or Hotter boots that just look (sorry going to have to say it) granny-ish (they do look really comfy though!!)

I don’t have time to go right through all the suggestions on the thread atm so if no-one else has I’d suggest Fly Salv Chelsea boots. They are just brilliant…light, lovely soles, soft leather, very very comfortable. Not expensive for leather boots and they really last. I’ve had mine for 8 years and I wear them all the time.

I have Blundstones which are great but I've just bought Lanx Edgworths and think I like them even more, I'm tempted to get them in black as well.
