This was my reasoning. If it had released at £300, I’d still have tried to buy it. So I bought it and am happy. 😊

Enjoy every spray! So good it arrived in perfect condition. I will plump too, sooner or later. I’m guessing a November drop is out of the question. And even if it does, will be the same scalper rubbish again 🙈

My replacement SFAC arrived today, a bit worried as it had a boat trip in the storms to get to me. All items present and correct, just the inside of one drawer ripped due to the weight of the bottle. Only 37 days to wait now!

Still getting revenge on Vinted. 😂. I never wanted the SFAC but feel I’m acting in solidarity with peeps on here who wanted it but never stood a chance.

@MyCatChloe - same! I feel I have a little part time job going reporting them. Just wish Vinted was a bit more consistent!

Big thank you to the kind mnetter on the swap group who very kindly -at her own expense -sent me the Dermalogica voucher from her Harrods BAC.
I used it today and had a wonderful relaxing lumi fusion LED facial with a lovely beauty therapist in a proper private treatment room. I thought it would just be at the counter but it was like being at a spa ! I noticed in the price list it was worth £80 🙌🏻
When I was leaving the therapist presented me with this huge haul of goodies , in a space nk style travel bag . Delighted 🤩

So thanks again kind person , may your advents never have any DoD’s !!

I'm just glad it got used - the benefit of the Facebook group. And not at all jealous, even though I know I'd never have got round to using it myself!

Catching up again, after the first busy week of half-term.
As my punishment, I've missed out on the return of JLFAC once again.

Totally not surprised by the shoddy/ inconsistent CS from Shiseido/ YSL and missing GWPs.
Both are owned by L'oreal with the warehouse in mainland Europe, and the CS is god knows where. I've seen a lot of complaints on TP about the missing GWPs and CS not giving a toss, since they are free products.

I've had a bad experience myself with my first YSL order in their BF sale, which hung about customs for ages. I was ensured it would eventually move along, so didn't re-order the items. By the time they confirmed the parcel is lost, everything was already OOS. Another time I ordered from them, I received a damaged box and products knocking about in it freely (luckily, everything was there).

On the other hand, I remember the most excellent Warehouse sales at L'Oreal Head office I attended in pre-Covid times. It was right next to our office in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. YSL perfumes as cheap as 30 euro for a 50ml bottle. I bet they are even more fun now, with all the L'Oreal acquisitions in the past few years, but I no longer get invites due to skipping a few sales in 2020-2022.

I finally ordered the look fantastic calendar. Does anybody know how long delivery is taking on these? I should have got one from my local store but was more motivated by a discount 🤣

I didn’t know there was a Dermalogica voucher in the Harrods BAC, I just thought there was a CurrentBody one.

Champneys is a real bargain. You get a free twilight spa voucher included. I’ve bought one each for my sister and I so we can go together and their products are nice to use for the bath etc anyway. Boots also have £10 off when you spend £75 on Christmassy things so got a men’s gift set for my brother to make it up. Made the calendars just over £30 each!

Argh, Mike Ashley strikes again. Received by Harvey Nichols Fragrance Calendar and one of the bottles is smashes. What do I do? Noticed this year they've removed the shredded tissue paper meaning the stuff just moves around, and likely due to another Mike Ashley cost cutting exercise.

I ordered on 1st September and it was finally delivered on 16th October! I contacted them several times and they said they would ‘try’ to get them delivered by 1st December but couldn’t guarantee it.
As you can imagine I wasn’t very impressed.

Oh I’ve just had notification it’s on its way!
