Maybe when they realise that their calendars are getting deleted, they will sell all the scents separately. More hassle for them & as the market is flooded, the price will drop even more for those of us who are after a particular scent.
What are the Vinted banned sellers rules? Haven't they tightened up their rules recently? Won't the sellers be banned when they keep getting reported?

Yes, I’ve had exactly that with my last 2 Selfridges orders prior to the SFAC. In both instances I pushed hard and eventually got a refund but it’s really awful.

I think one of my takeaways from this thread is going to be to never ever buy anything from selfridges. I’m astounded they are so bad.

How did you push them? Anything that helped? My friend has to now wait for 24/48 hours to receive an email from Selfridges while they investigate.

@HolidayHattie - it arrived and that was the first thing I did! It’s gorgeous. So pleased I bought it. It’s now on the chest of drawers in the spare bedroom with the White Company one.

@PunnyCyanBear - that’s awful but I’m sure that happened to someone else on here too. Selfridges said it was despatched but DPD had no record of receiving it. Which sounds suspicious. It could be being stolen from the Selfridges dispatch centre or someone at DPD is intercepting them. I hope your friend gets her money back.

I thought I might pick up a few items on Ebay from advent calendars that I didn't purchase. What's with the items marked as 'new' and with a description of 'I only used it twice' or 'I put my finger in to see if I liked the colour'? That's NOT new!

I'm reporting these, but it's a cumbersome process.

If anyone is looking for a beauty advent calendar for a teenager then the beautycrop mini makeup one might be worth considering. It's currently priced at £45 on tiktok down from £55. It could always be used as a stocking filler (all items are mini products) but it's a nice introduction to the brand at that price.

I’m also really disappointed that Space NK aren’t doing a fragrance advent this year, and even more so that they’ve repurposed the box for their made-up “lux” advent.
On top of that, I keep seeing their ads on Instagram, with the first image being the box of last year’s fragrance advent, followed by one or two fragrance photos and then the other cosmetics sets. It feels very deliberately designed to give anyone searching for the fragrance advent a false glimmer of hope before revealing that it’s not actually there. A bit cheeky

I’m actually now tempted by the SNK luxe with the double points. Should I be the first to give in?

Double points if my calculation is correct is the equivalent of £80 off in points so about 20% discount. So I suppose the question is would you buy it at £330? For me it would need to be below £250 for the products to work for me but these things are very personal. If you do get it I would love to know your thoughts as these things are often better in the flesh.

I also became a vinted vigilante this morning. Unfortunately, it looks like one was sold before they could delete, however I managed to get 3 deleted so 🎉
off to have another go now, it was quite satisfying. Most were at £310 but the £300 one sold so I’m hoping it’s pushing the price down for them at least

Does anyone know if there's a way to get glossybox or asos cheaper? I want to get for a present but would like to get the price down!

I have reported quite a few on Vinted today too. It’s quite satisfying. Some they took down and some they said had been reported already.
