i think even the Selfridges staff would have been taken by surprise re today’s fragrance advent sales, they told m yesterday there would be no more, obviously kept top secret! I didn’t get a notification either but had decided against it anyway. So glad some managed to get it!

I'm not sure what to expect. They seem to vary a bit country to country. It probably won't be quite like the massive USA ones (what is?) but I'm sure it will be fab and a really fun afternoon. I really appreciate that the Gold tickets allowed you to bring a plus one. Much more fun with a friend.

Sadly not. I'm hoping someone pipes up with a generic 10% off first order code...I'm not sure why I haven't received an email with it. Possibly because they know that I'm planning to stack GWP, free samples etc.

I will only have one BAC a year and it takes me about a year to get through all the products. If you have more than one, how do you use them all up? Or maybe I don’t use enough each day?

Rest assured, your usage is perfectly normal. I won’t get through my multiple calendars. I’ll look at them lovingly and feel content that I own them. Then I’ll very slowly start using/ gifting/ selling bits off to fund next years spree. It’s a full time job🤷‍♀️

I use a lanyard for my phone when out and about in cities - it feels a lot safer.

Do it. Do it! £200 is basically the price of the perfume then everything else plus the gwp is free 🥳 I'm still considering buying it but I don't have any offers.

1 BAC a year isn't enough skincare for me. 2 is probably right. I remember a few years ago, before I discovered these threads, I only bought 1 Harrods BAC and was annoyed that I didn't buy two as most of the skincare had gone by easter. I did knock over the Dr Barbara Sturm serum on the first use so it would've lasted me a bit longer had I not done that 🙈

I only have 3 Bacs this year, although I do have 2x revolve 12 day on the way which in hindsight I shouldn't have bought the second as I deffo don't need 🤣 I did also buy Sephora but sold most of it off. I only wanted the perfume, palette, candle and a few other bits from it. I really shouldn't buy the Fenwick's one 🤭

It’s the gift with purchase that is drawing me to the Fenwick calendar. I am a sucker for a gwp or good discount. 😏 It is in my basket with a couple of perfume samples but I keep reminding myself that I really don’t need it.

I'm new to BACs and luxury skincare in general so I'm still in the stage of trying everything and finding out what I like. Calendars are the most economical way to do that. Anything I'm not keen on gets passed on to my DS or DP.

I'd rather queue outside to be honest. It never failed me. Ever since Covid and the online lottery/ queueing BS, I rarely manage to get something except a ton of frustration and wasted time.

How did you know there will be another drop of SFAC yesterday? Is there another one planned?

I ordered the Brown Thomas Beauty Chest. I don't think there will be arnotts advent - it's probably same thing and there are good few things I want to try. I also got perfume I want with 20% off and free gift with purchase set that has good few things in it.

@JoRaRaRa could you please tell me what is in that is worth getting the revolve 12day AC?I have never tried MZ and unsure of other stuff in there.

@Donsyb and @Fillybuster ehat type of Amex card do you have? I don’t have one but think I need to get one but there seem to be lots of different types.

It’s gorgeous isn’t it! I was anxious after reading about broken bottles etc but mine was pristine. I’m going to be a bit decadent and start it today as a treat to myself after some difficult times (I do have Liberty and Space NK for December’s decadence!). Think I’ll do a few a week to pace it out a bit. Very excited to try new scents.
