Welcome to the 12th thread, we still have 50 days till the daily unboxing officially starts, although I very much doubt any of our calendars will remain untouched until then 😂

My wishlist won’t even load. This is rubbish.

I seem to have got one! I was 15487 or something in the queue and the wishlist wasn’t working for me after crashing earlier. So I decided to download Edge on my iPad and go in as a ‘stranger’, added the calendar to my wishlist (pressing heart), then did the major faff of desperately trying to click ‘add to bag’ in the millisecond the option comes up (repeated attempts) when it suddenly worked! Tried to pay Apple Pay but then it told me I already had an account with that email so had to log in (argh!) but it held my basket thank goodness.

Payment wasn't working on mine last week, keep trying, mine eventually went through.

Wishlist is also working, I've just tried it.

I've only got an android so the wishlist hack wouldnt work for me anyway. It will be interesting/infuriating to see how many more end up on eBay later.

Used to love the calendars when they were a £50 top up to a £80+ purchase. My MiL would get one most years from Clarins or Clinique as they are a brand i like, so she’d buy me a gift for my early Jan birthday, but send me the calendar for December. It was a chance to top up my travel bag with items I bought regularly but also to try some new products like a lipstick in a shade I might not try or a new fragrance. Things I might then go on to buy more often.

But when you get to £250 a pop and most of the items are things you’d never buy, especially the mixed brands ones, it’s lost its allure. For that money I’d rather buy the full size set of my favourite items and maybe treat myself to a bottle of Chanel perfume.

Just got the push notification telling me it’s back in stock - still 100k ahead of me in the queue

this is a PR disaster for Selfridges - how they have done this so badly compared to Harrods which always sells out but without the bot drama - twice!

Ok. So nothing worked for me. I could t get the swish list to load on the app, private browsing nor normal browser. I tried incognito still nothing. I think this is not meant to be and I now need to get out of bed and tackle the day.

Don’t stay in the queue, delete app and keep refreshing wishlist, try different browsers.

Just got back in. Sorry it's been such a disaster. This sounds worse than last time. 😭

The only browser that worked for me last time was Microsoft Edge

Using safari on Mac laptop and Wishlist with Apple Pay worked for me just now. Am praying you all get yours, we all absolutely deserve one after this fiasco

I’m getting annoyed by how bad this is. The site keeps either saying I don’t have a wishlist or chucks me out of my account.

Just after my last post I got in the queue and here I sit, it still seems ti be moving v slowly but I’m not watching it v closely.

Presumably they’d tell me if it was sold out and not leave me hanging for ‘more than an hour’ to then tell me? (They’d better not!)

it doesn’t feel like a luxury experience does it?

Safari browser worked for me too

Hi I managed to get one, it kept coming up with error when I was trying to pay. In the end Klarna worked. I ordered through the website on my phone. I had to delete the app as when it was my turn, it took me to the app and put me back in the queue.

not sure what is going on with the queuing as I was 175 on my phone on browser, on the app was 40000 and was in the thousands on my work laptop. I’m

Delete app, go to safari or edge browser, login, go to wishlist, keep refreshing page and try to hit add to bag when it appears

Also to add it limits you to one calendar, I was trying to purchase two, in an attempt to get one for other mums netter (would have offered it on this thread)

I had problems getting the payment to go through as well. I tried all options but I couldn’t get rid of the payment error information at the bottom of the page. The website now says more stock coming soon so I assume it’s sold out again. 🙄🙄
