I tried the body wash this evening, it’s gorgeous. Lovely lather and fragrance! Didn’t expect such a nice lather, really nice.

I have enjoyed the st Bart’s perfume mist testers so I bought the set in a discount and I haven’t opened it yet

I am forcing myself to finish a whole load of products at the moment with the promise of doing exactly the same thing.

I want to do a proper, considered re-load from the stash instead of my usual slightly/very chaotic random grab out the cupboard when I need a dopamine hit or am being very impatient about wanting to try something. I’ve had a firm word with myself (who needs ChatGPT when you’ve got a mirror???) about how much more I’m going to enjoy all my new goodies when I don’t have fifteen million open bottles all cluttering up the drawer and making me feel guilty!

Good news: just had a notification from CB that my edits are on the move. Phew!

I finally finished Zelens Melatonin B12 Overnight Repair Mask (seemed to take forever to get the last bit out!) and have taken a Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask out of my stash box to try next. It was a difficult choice because I love the Laniege Cica Sleep Mask and really want to try the Tatcha Inidgo Night Repair but I have two of the Sulwhasoo so figured I better make a start on it 😅 it’s 120ml though, so it’s going to take forever to finish. I’m going to save the MZ Skin Rich Cream for when it’s a bit colder, as suggested here. I have far, far too many night creams 😳

I did a little stash shopping this evening. A new eye cream, Shiseido Benefiance. I do like Shiseido products but I wish they weren't all so fragranced. It doesn't irritate my skin and I like a bit of fragrance but they all fall on the side of a bit too much.

Also opened La Mer lip balm to keep beside the bed and Champo brow serum (for all the good it probably won't do).

My new products in rotation are the medik8 advanced peptides and AoS eye cream from the CB edit. Love both so far!

I used the AoS eye cream today and really liked it. I feel quite spoiled by the recent CB edits!

Exciting ! I might start mine in December.

It's a really nice eye cream. I used one last winter so I'm really pleased it's in this edit.

I’ve opened the SR vitamin C cream (liking so far), and the Caudalie eye cream (not liking so much but will persevere).
For night time I’ve started using a Peter Thomas Roth gel moisturiser (not loving but it’s a mini so won’t last long) and the SF Jet Lag cream (LOVE IT)

I’ve got the AoS and Medik8 peptides waiting in the wings

The Champo hair serum does apparently work. Some people also mentioned the brow serum working for them so who knows.

You just need to do it consistently. It should strengthen the existing hair avoiding early fall outs and awaken dormant follikels.

Ive started using their hairserum 3 to 4 weeks ago. Results are around 12 weeks. Hoping it works 🙏

I've been using The Ordinary Hair serum for a while now and I think it has made a difference. My hairdresser thought so too when I saw her last week.

I've tried all kinds on my brows. The left one is fine but the right one I have a space where hair just doesn't grow. Nothing has worked so far other than just penciling it in.

I’m really looking forward to trying the AoS eye cream. I’m using Medik8 eye cream at night and Tatcha eye cream during the day but I don’t have any in my stash other than the AoS so that will be next. I also have 100ml of the AoS Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Advanced Firming Daily Treatment as I purchased five GWPs from the Fairy 🫣 I’ve never tried AoS but I’m looking forward to using both. Might pass one or two of the latter to DP.

Have you tried the Shiseido one? I really rated that when I used it but don’t need to anymore so don’t RP.

My eyebrows filled in when I started putting peptide cream on them. I started off using an Aldi drunk elephant dupe multi peptide cream and I don’t have as many greys and they are not patchy anymore.

I’m also very pleased with CB luminous skin edit. However after looking at Sulwasoo serum, the second ingredient is Alcohol Denat! 😳 it’s only tiny deluxe size though. Look forward to the rest of edit.

@ShineDespiteEverything Yeah, i put everything through my Chatgpt for skin matches and it said the same. Not going to use that.

That would explain why it stung a tiny bit yesterday when i put my retinol serum on top of it...

To be honest, it's one of those products that seems a bit pointless - you put it on after cleansing before your other serums. It's just more admin! Mind you, I do love the Sulwhasoo ginseng cream and would love to see that in an edit or BAC as I'm way too tight to pay £££ for it.

I agree it’s interesting that don’t normally stack but expect sales are down and maybe they are hoping this will help.
I bought it as actually wanted a few bits from the gwp and only have a few makeup things on my wanted list.

My Brown Thomas has made it to my friend but they are away so hopefully will be sent to me next week 🤞🤞

Im very careful layering stuff after I had major issues with the Elemis Toner last year. Supposedly the PC cream was barrier strenthening. No it wasnt. Everything stung for weeks. Couldnt tolerate most stuff except for Clinique Moisture surge during that period.

I use ChatGPT now for ingredients etc... to doublecheck.

And the extra step is just a marketing tool to make us spend more money.
