New thread. Welcome back everyone. It's taken a while to get through the last due to how busy the advent threads have been.

All the holiday releases are coming out now and Black Friday is looming. So take a seat and buckle up. 😊

I've just bought this offer from Boots:
Edit you need to add the kit manually, its not automatically added to basket. I searched "fresh face" to get it.

Radley Vanity case - £70 and has £10 of points on it (so do lots of things today including toasters! - but I thought this was cute).

Thanks everyone, I’ll look for your suggestions.

Not a fan of Carmex though, it’s another of the Vaseline-y type of greasy gunk I do not like!

I chanced Blistex again in case it was my imagination and woke up with sore edges again. So that really is that. I’m just gutted!

Are you looking for a stick type one? I recently opened the La Mer one from last year's Liberty (or was it Harrods?) advent. That's really nice but is a screw lid one and pricey. I also love the Tatcha one in a little pot.

This is interesting thanks! Not used DW for ages, but just bought one as the gift looks good for free! There doesn't seem to be any description of the sizes so wonder if it'll all be minis?

Thanks I got the Hydra futurist foundation.

Ohh I'm ordering but I can't get the code BEAUTYDETECTIVESPH to work on the Sephora app. Has anyone managed to get the 15% off with this code?

Edited

Unfortunately, the code only works on the website, not in the app

I do prefer the stick or tube type but at this point anything that works will do me!

I’ve ordered a La Roche Posay cicaplast with crossed fingers!

I was just coming on to recommend the Cicaplast Lèvres. I asked on here for lip recommendations a while ago and have since been using a combination of products.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask at night - I really notice the difference next day if I don't use it. However my lips still dry and flake during the day. The Cicaplast is good. I also like Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Sugar Melt Lip Scrub, which is sometimes in Boots £10 Tuesday. Finally Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant; I only have the tinted one and use it when I want a bit of colour.

Housewife2010 · 19/10/2026 16:00

My favourite lip balm which works well when my lips are sore is the Nuxe Reve de Miel in the jar.

LoveLabradors · 19/10/2026 16:37

I second @Housewife2010 with the nuxe balm.

Just had an email from Rituals about new products, are they pouring them over a jacket potato?!

Shea butter nut/seed whatever it's called. I think this market is oversaturated now.

THere's the RMS balm in a v good CB edit at the mo and the Glossier Dotcom balm from last years SNK advent I've just started with and that's very balmy and I might have to get one with colour.

Talisin · 19/10/2026 16:54

Well that potato certainly is…

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 19/10/2026 16:55

Quite fancy a tuna and sweetcorn jacket spud for my tea now.

Hicupping · 19/10/2026 17:09

They cancelled mine too.
I won't bother sharing anything else from CatchaGem as this happened recently with the Morphe offer he promoted. I think he is sharing more website glitches than genuine offers tbh

And me too saying they don’t have the stock but it’s clearly because it was a mistake! Oh well.!

I think Boots ran out of the GWP as it showed out of stock when I tried to buy it following your post

Beautyfox · 19/10/2026 20:10

Just had a survey from SNK about their ndulge program. It’s the best in the business I really hope they don’t mess with it.

SavageGarden23 · 19/10/2026 20:31

My response to the survey,As before, dont judge and dont undervalue your clients. Dont be pushy in american style of marketing it is not appreciated in the UK.

I mentioned how undervalued I feel when others get offers for 20% off and I only got 15%, how awful the delivery is and what’s happened to the samples. But I told them I love the points and the birthday present! Those are the things I don’t want them to change.

TragicMuse · 19/10/2026 23:45

I’ve just tried the replacement Reome broth from my Liberty BAC. Hello slightly itchy face.

So that’s a dud for me then.

DAMMIT.

XelaM · 19/10/2026 23:53

If anyone hears of any good GWP or discounts on the LF men's grooming advent please let me know, as I'm considering it as a birthday gift for my brother (November birthday).
