I need to get into the Boots recycling. I did look into it yonks ago and it seemed faffy / the extra points only had a limited shelf life? Has this changed now? My local Boots (more of a pharmacy plus some extras) doesn’t do it so I’d need to plan it, but if the points last it’ll be more worth it.

@OvaHere glad you enjoyed your Sephoria trip yesterday. Your goodie bag looks great! I think they split the brand goodies into two batches of equal value as everyone seemed to get either the kerastase/ Summer Fridays/mario version like mine or the shiesedo// Tatcha/ glowery like you.

@Goldleafcat -after getting a recycling voucher, you only have until the end of the day to scan it whilst spending £10 in Boots in order to get the £5 Reward points added to your account.

However, once the points are added, they don’t expire.

I have £120+ in points which I am saving to buy something special. I was tempted by the Icons x Sculpted by Aimee and the Ouai box but let them escape. I was then going to get a Dior Xmas bag but they only seem to have one available in Boots this year and the bright pink blush in it is awful!

If I am still without a shop bought 2026 a/c closer to Xmas, I will probably get one with my Boots points.

I had similarly put off doing it for ages @Goldleafcat thinking it would be too much of a faff and now I am kicking myself as there’s a Boots with drop off point 5 mins from my office and its so easy! The photo upload process is really easy too.

I have also put it off for ages. I took pics ages ago and they accepted them so need to do this week. Ive also told my daughter to do it. Mainly to encourage her to ditch old stuff but she goes to a gym next door to a boots so easy for her to drop off and get free points. Ill slgive her a list to buy for me and pay her as she'll just random buy 😀

Tbh I would have preferred the other bag as it had slightly more useable/desirable products based on what I like but there's some nice stuff in mine.

Just packed it all up now. Getting home with these bags will be fun! 😂

The Trustpilot reviews of Cohorted Beauty seem more about their subscription and mystery boxes. This looks like a great box for the price but never encountered this company before.

Any fenty fans there's decent discounts ob look fantastic. I just got the gloss bomb vault for £97.50 instead of £125.

So collected my Boots order this morning containing the Ouai x Boots set and one of the items within the set is wrong - got a mini Detox shampoo (89ml) instead of the Melrose Place body cleanser (89ml). So volume for volume is the same but I’m still a bit annoyed 😒
Tried CS chat this afternoon, but the wait for an agent was 60mins. I left it open for over an hour but no luck. Sending annoyed email now 😤

@DidILeaveTheGasOn I had the Cohorted subscription for a year or two. I haven’t had it for a couple of years but I never had any problems with it, everything always arrived on time and in good nick.

I started recycling in May and have earned £136 in points since then. I’m a points hoarder so I’m now sitting on over £400 😅 I think I might hit the 8 deposit limit for the first this month (I still have one in nappies which accounts for most of my recyclables!).

@JPMJulizI would be quite annoyed, I thought the set was worth for the shampoo alone, but if it’s 300ml of shower gel then I wouldn’t consider it.

@user593you are indeed self confessed points hoarder 🤣 any ideas where you’ll spend it? I do about 6 deposits per month and splurge it all on makeup or perfume 🤣 My next target is Dior lip madallion or Chanel hand cream with fluffy pouch 😍 I am leaning towards Dior. If I buy any of these babies be sure I’ll be refilling the crap of them until the end of days 🧓 🤣

I was going to buy my DSD some perfume but then there were bonus points for buying the perfume so I just bought it and banked the bonus points 😅

No idea, I used to use it every year to buy my grandmother a bottle of perfume at Christmas but she died several years ago and so since then it’s accumulated. I think that might be one of the reasons I find it so hard to spend.

Boots just got sold so I would be weary if I had hundreds in points. I only have around 50 quid worth so waiting for a good kit,or BF sale.

Eek! @SavageGarden23 you make a very good point. I’ve got around £300 in Boots points to spend. No idea why I can’t bring myself to use them (although I think maybe in part because none of the discount offers work with them so I always end up rolling over) but that’s a very good nudge.

ETA: I just checked. £290!!!!
