New thread. Welcome back everyone. It's taken a while to get through the last due to how busy the advent threads have been.

All the holiday releases are coming out now and Black Friday is looming. So take a seat and buckle up. 😊

@DidILeaveTheGasOn I love that you do that! ❤️ yes there are an alarming amount of kittens and feral colonies in the UK at the moment sadly. I really like to support the little rescues that work with them. All my pets over the years have been rescues.

LoveLabradors · 14/10/2026 20:08

@Doglover73 i believe online pharmacies can prescribe rozex. I would’ve gone down that route but thankfully have the rare thing of a good GP practice! Some people recommend LRP but I found it made no difference so would go straight to online pharmacy and rozex.

Lurkingshark · 14/10/2026 20:12

Lancome lovers - boots have some good offers and GWP with 2 purchases.

Doglover73 · 14/10/2026 22:14

@LoveLabradors I've ordered the rozex after watching Nadines instagram. From the independent pharmacy. Ive washed my face with prequel gleanser and left it. Feels strange. 😅

user593 · 14/10/2026 22:28

I’ve just been through my skincare stash which was a sobering experience and it seems I have two bottles of Medik8 Peptides Advanced MP and one bottle of Liquid Peptides. Do I need both? How do they differ? I feel certain someone here will know the answer 😅

user593 · 14/10/2026 22:31

I also have a bottle of Clarity Peptides but I know I like that and use it up quite quickly.

@namechange0998776554799000 - thanks - I was wondering if they still had them at JL, but unfortunately I needed to see the colours today if I was going to use BD money. I will look next time I am in JL, though.

Oh well, the search continues for how to spend my credit.

May Liberty tempt you with £150 lip trinket? 😳🤣

I've tried both recently. Liquid peptides is fine but doesn't seem to do much, I still prefer hydr8 intense. When I started using advance peptides I thought wow! It absolutely works, definitely tightens up lines and I was really excited to start using it. Then after about a week I realised I was getting spots - really odd tiny but stubborn ones in places I never normally get them. Googled and it looks like this is a side effect for some people. Have stopped using it now for about a week and the spots have gone.

I seem to have very reactive skin and lots of products that are fine for other people give me redness/irritation/spots, so fingers crossed it will be fine for you! It works so well I'm seriously considering using it anyway and living with the spots 🤷‍♀️

Thank you @MrsBnow12 - this is the first one I've bought 🥰 I really like the hair products from them, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the body products 😊

The advanced one has ‘mini proteins’ (!) and is meant to be better at tackling deeper wrinkles, firming things up etc whereas the original is more gentle (I think). Both are fab I’m sure!

I’ve been using the advanced one. I only use it at night though as I do find it pills on my skin which is annoying (given the cost).

I use the detox shampoo once a week so made sense to buy it as know I don’t have a spare full size in my stash

I've tried the body sprays from Ouai but not the hair products. This looks like a great set and I had enough points to get it. My sister was obsessed with the Melrose Place TV series.

How soon after early access does this go on sale normally? I must have missed signing up for these as I haven't had any emails about them and this is one I'd definitely use.

ClutteredPalace · 15/10/2026 07:53

Thanks @MrsBnow12 order placed. I needed another detox shampoo as I'd just finished mine so great timing.

Ah fantastic, thank you guys. With 10% off and BD credit I got a wee bargain and enough points to get a £20 voucher when they do those.
Re: Fugazzi Purple, please let me know if you aren’t keen and would like to trade or sell it. I love it.

I have a Fugazzi Purple 8ml but not from the kit- I think I got it in the BD Box last October- if you would like it. I sprayed it to test but wasn't keen.

I'm not buying this one even though it's a nice set. I really struggle with squeezing the full size Ouai bottles in the shower. I've got two half empty ones because I just gave up on them.

When I am going to use mine I turn it upside side down when I wet my hair and no squeezing required - but totally understand what you are saying.

I agree this this.
I tend to buy their biggest bottle on Cult beauty when they are running a promotion. The bigger one comes in a pump bottle.

Maybe I need to try that and get them used up. I have quite small hands so I think my grip on them isn't great.

Could you decant them into another bottle or soap dispenser? I had the same with a JHAG bodywash so purchased a cheap soap dispenser from Dunelm (admittedly, another place were quality, delivery and CS has gone down the pan ☹️)
