I second the Purito centella range (unscented) 💚 Toner / serum / cream. Very effective at calming the skin. I think I’ve repurchased it more than 10 times, not even the full stash can keep me away from it 😄

Last year's box was more, but also more expensive. I got it when it went on sale. Wasn't too impressed with this years.

I had forgotten about the double points. I might purchase the edit this week but I have soo much make up that I must stay away from that.

I want the Violette FR Bisou Jelly in Confiture de Figue but I’m really annoyed the minimum spend is so high even to get 20% off. I also don’t think includes the item I want.

I’m annoyed that SNK have stopped stocking the single HG eyeshadows in store and have taken away all their testers. I went in specifically to look at shades prior to ordering some from Liberty with my BD credit.

I daren’t order the eyeshadows without seeing them irl because I am bound to choose the wrong shades!

I wonder if HG are phasing them out. I know they are widely regarded as overpriced but I like the mix and match element.

@Doglover73 - definitely sounds like peri oral dermatitis
It can be triggered by using steroid creams on your face - which is why dermatologists strongly advise not using things like hydrocortisone on your chops

I think it’s a real shame Lisa Eldridge doesn’t sell empty palettes because they sell single eye shadow refills on their website. I popped out a few I didn’t like from one of her palettes and replaced them but I’d love to just build a palette from scratch!

I'm pretty sure I saw the singles a few months ago in a largeish John Lewis

Not content with one mystery bundle (still at large with the Evri guy, we are mildly concerned he might have been crushed under the weight of all my parcels), I ordered a mystery box from Rituals after @namechange0998776554799000 's post yesterday and I am very impressed!

A couple of years ago, I went to Greece to volunteer at a cat sanctuary and it was exhausting (very rewarding, but exhausting!). On the flight back, the Rituals Amsterdam collection gift set was in the in flight magazine and I was really tempted, but too knackered to debate internally with myself about buying it. I was just glad to be sitting down.
So I was really pleased to see it in the sale on Rituals yesterday, and of course I ordered it alongside the mystery box.

I was so pleased then, to see in the mystery box, the hand balm from the same collection as the Amsterdam gift set. It felt like a lovely treat!

Just as an aside, I was surprised to see the Amsterdam gift set in the shop at full price, and then in the Outlet, at a reduced price. Maybe just a reminder to me to check offers and outlets before purchases?

Was there a link for the rituals mystery boxes? I'm at the stage of my holiday when it's safe to buy parcels!!

Oh thanks. Interesting i did think it was my rosacea floating up but no its definitely this. Ive stopped the hydrocortisone. Dont want to take antibiotics if I can help it. Will see how I go. Thanks again. ❤️

@Doglover73 I had POD and had to go on antibiotics. I have a tube of rozex cream now if there is the merest hint of it returning. The GP was going to prescribe yet more antibiotics as it hadn’t gone away so I asked her to prescribe rozex after lots of research and it healed it quickly. It hasn’t returned but I am very wary of glycolic acid and too many actives now. Interestingly essential oils can cause problems. I found Nadine (forgotten her last name) beauty writer has some really informative videos on it.

My skin hates essential oils, especially in cleansers.
Ill look into the rozex but seeing gp is dam near impossible. Ill watch native maggots vids thanks ❤️

@DidILeaveTheGasOn i was in France in the summer and got the ferry. DFDS had a fantastic duty free shop with very cheap gin and the lovely big rituals gift boxes for £24! They had all of them. I kick myself for only getting one and not thinking about Christmas presents etc! It is lovely that you volunteered at the cat sanctuary, I always fall in love with Greek cats and I’m glad to see much better animal welfare and neutering in Greece now. I do not think my cat would be best please with a new Greek pal though! Little island of Tilos last year had an astonishing record of all neutered cats and very well fed ones too thanks to one lady on the island and her determination. Paxos has municipal feeding stations and Meganisi is really good too.

It’s amazing what they’ve accomplished isn’t it @LoveLabradors! 7/9 cats in our house are from feral colonies in Greece. We now foster with local charities here, the rate of unneutered cats in the UK is on the rise.
