Outfit for Athens wedding.

I've never been on style and beauty for outfit suggestions (but have offered a few) but need some help with an outfit. I am attending a wedding in Athens at the start of November and I have bought an outfit but now worried I'll be really hot as it's still 25 degrees.

This is what I have ordered

I don't really wear dresses but open to suggestions - although I have looked at loads and can't see anything that's v me. The wedding bit will be quite formal but we're going to my friend's family taverna for the party bit and that will be less so.

I am not really into frilly things or florals, really love trouser suits, but would be open to the right dress or co-ord and budget up to £350. I normally keep things quite simple and classic.

I’ve been to a Greek wedding that wasn’t full length evening dresses so it’s definitely worth trying to find out the likely dress of the guests. Dress trousers silk top and jacket is fine though, it may be hot, maybe not

Have a look at Katya Wildman / katyawildmanlondon on Instagram - comfortable, glamorous dresses. As a pp has said, watch out for cold weather.

I think it's one of those outfits & those colours that you have to seen on. As I said, I think it's best for someone with quite strong colouring - but that's subjective & it may work brilliantly on you. (I used to be auburn, but have now faded to strawberry blonde, & it's surprising how much it's made me rethink some colours on me.)

I didn't think you'd be a pattern person so was surprised you mentioned LaDoubleJ - was the dress you liked more of a graphic pattern? Can you post a pic?

Is it the long blue Joseph dress with the bell sleeves & sash at waist that you like? I would try it while it's still in stock - you've nothing to lose!
