Why did you bother asking if you completely disregarded the very clear opinion of everyone OP? 🤦‍♀️ Obviously you can wear whatever you want…but why ask?

You are 34 not 84! I’m 58 and would not wear any of those.

I'm 73 but I would not wear any of them. I do like funnel neck jackets (although I am very short, with a short neck and they don't work too well on me) but I'm not keen on the one pictured in #3.

What's happened to S & B? It used to be one of the nicest sections of MN. So often now I see aggression.

So respond on those threads? It’s got nothing to do with this one, unless the OP is planning to wear the nasty jacket with said dungarees. I don’t think they’d make it look worse though, or like an old lady or, indeed, like a toddler.

@chocolatestodgeandcustard , I don't like funnel necks myself but I agree about the aggression. Some threads are a joy to be on but this one generally isn't.

They look like something one might wear while blasting living things out of the sky with a shotgun.

They are all old lady coats, I wouldn't be seen in any of them. Sorry.

I am an old lady and I wouldn’t be seen dead in any of them

Do you like bomber style, OP? This one has a funnel neck, but appears to be dry clean only, dark grey or light khaki/fawn

@SwedishEdith , I like the traditional Barbours. I grew up in the countryside and am used to them.
I think you either see them as loyal servants or a statement.

I definitely look 'old lady' in a Beadnell but that is the classic woman's Barbour.
Buy Classic Beadnell® Waxed Jacket for GBP 269.00 | BARBOUR_GB
Mine's a Beaufort.

If you don't want a waxed jacket they do more city friendly quilted jackets e.g. Buy Beadnell Polarquilt Jacket for GBP 169.00 | BARBOUR_GB

I'd avoid the fashion ones. Buy Delilah Tartan Showerproof Jacket for GBP 199.00 | BARBOUR_GB is not for me,

They’re well made, last for ever, go with anything and you can get them repaired.

None of them, sorry OP. I have a Beadnell (Barbour).

StylishAndBeautiful · Yesterday 18:43

@EspressoWarrior , They don't. They look like cheap imitations of such garments.

@Freda69 , the thornproof ones will as long as you look after them. They can take quite a battering.
