I think it's one candle in a holder. I think the candle holder is the clay one at £98, and the candle would be £20 I think. I can't believe the cost of the Marchanta stuff! The 60g candle has a burn time of around 12.5 hrs.

Thankyou , yes the Marchanta is hugely expensive , I’ve never seen candle holders for thousands before . One of the you tube vids shows the products but doesn’t record them properly , it points to the Dr Vranges long package as the candles but I think they’re the diffuser sticks . It’s all unclear but one holder with one candle makes sense even though the box of four would be wonderful .

SFAC all paid its £225 and shipping on Thursday. Just need a chocolate one and that’s me sorted.

Practically flew home from school this evening- I’ll go in early to catch up. Couldn’t keep BT waiting any longer- she is a thing of great beauty 🥰.
The box is very sturdy and I love the design. I might keep this one out until December 😊. The gold button ‘clasp’ has popped off (it’s only stuck on with glue so easily fixable)- this is the only casualty from transit.

I’m attempting to attach photos now - might need to do two posts🤞.

I'm lusting after the Harrods HFAC so ran it via Co-Pilot who said

What makes it good value

• The value is not being inflated by lots of tiny samples. The Trudon, Dr Vranjes, Ormonde Jayne, Culti and especially the enormous NEST candle are expensive, usable products. Those five items alone come to approximately £580, which is already £230 more than the calendar price.
• The strongest individual inclusion is the NEST Winter Soirée candle at £195. The Trudon Ernesto is another excellent inclusion at £95, particularly if you like smoky, woody, tobacco-style fragrances.

Possible drawbacks

• This is a luxury discovery calendar, rather than a safe collection of universally easy scents. Several products are quite distinctive:
• Trudon Ernesto is smoky, leathery and tobacco-led.
• Dr Vranjes Rosso Nobile is rich, fruity and wine-inspired.
• Ormonde Jayne Ambre Royal is a strong amber, rose and patchouli fragrance.
• NEST Winter Soirée is warm, sweet and festive, with cardamom, caramel, vanilla and tobacco.
• The Culti product is specifically for the car, which reduces its value if you do not drive.

The only drawback for me would be the car fragrance - but I would give that to DSis

I then asked for a value and burn / fragrance time analysis. I amended the Marchanta candle holder price as I don't think it's the gold rimmed one from the photo. The Edion is also a guess

BT did cheaper one with less value when the first advent sold out last year.
