Sorry if this has already been posted but the Harrods home fragrance calendar is now on pre order! Can’t decide if I want it or not!

Oh I was dreading this and willing it at the same time.

I'm a huge fan of Dr Vranjes diffusers and love Rosso Nobile. I would also love the Trudon Ernesto candle, but I have little interest in a £115 car diffuser and the candle snuffer is a bit annoying.

I'd love other companies (Liberty?) to do a home fragrance calendar, so there's a bit of high-end competition out there.

£350 is steep. Also think its a teensy bit mean to only get one little 60g Marchanta Velón & Vasija. If it was the wooden box of 4, I think I would be successfully talking myself into it

personally I think the Harrods BAC seems vastly superior to the others this year, so I am not surprised it sold out first.

Fenwick BAC and CB edits arrived in a steady procession of blokes carrying boxes up to my front door in a really obvious and incriminating way, they might as well have walked in my house and told everyone I've been comfort shopping. The audacity of them delivering the things I ordered in a timely fashion! Tsk.

Have finally run out of space in the wardrobe for BACs, not sure where Fenwick is going to live. If I don't put it away somewhere, CrimeLord Cat will chew through the cardboard. Also need a home for the Sephora one, and F&M too. Well well well, if it isn't the consequences...

I have space. Just saying. I can home excess calendars as a public service. No money needs to change hands. Not that anybody's got any money because CALENDARS.

You could maybe use the excess cardboard boxes from the deliveries to build an extension to the house?

I really like this year's Space NK AC, although it could have been improved with a Lisa Eldridge palette and a Diptyque scent - I had Philosykos in it one year. Harrods has never appealed.
I have 3 CB edits arriving today. I was disappointed by the CB make up & fragrance edits. I'm really hoping the current gourmand trend passes soon.

Ordering the Boots Style Korean for click and collect was a bit of a disaster. I mean, it was there for collection on the day I requested, but it was a HUGE and quite heavy box which I had to lug up a big hill and to the far side of town where I was parked. Passers by [men, it's always men] were calling out "ooh, that's a big one", "mind you don't drop it" etc. Not "would you like a hand with that love?" or anything helpful.

I consoled myself with the thought that at least I would be able to smuggle it into the house unseen. Leave it in the boot until DH went out. Not to be. He heard me park up and came out "to lend a hand with bringing the shopping in" and caught me red-handed with a massive box in the boot. He NEVER comes out to give me a hand - if I need it, I ALWAYS have to go in and ask him first.

All because I was worried that if I ordered it for delivery it might arrive when we were away and I didn't want to pay the fee for named day delivery.

Ladies, A large BT shaped box has been delivered to my home 🥳. I’m stuck at work- the anticipation is killing me 😭.

Yeah, I think I’d also pick Space NK over Harrods. I keep looking at the contents of Harrods and wondering what people are seeing in it that’s exciting. I think it doesn’t appeal to me because I already have at least 2 EGF serums, plus the AB eye cream and the hourglass blush from last year.

If there’s a separate BF opening thread this year, I’m totally joining it for voyeuristic purposes!

Those are 3 of the things I am very excited by, so if you already have them I can see why you would feel differently. Also looking forward to the Lyma cream, which is far too expensive for me to purchase normally, and the Cle de peau primer and the Sisley lipstick is the perfect colour for me, but again super expensive at full price. Those are the highlights for me.

I think the 4 x 60 is confusing , one place says you get 4 candles and another says 1 . I’ve ordered anyway as it’s beautiful

Berry, also known as as Bezza, has her own theme tune, hall, golfing superstore empire and likes to wear delivery bags as capes and drink out of the toilet. She recently Shawshanked her way into the cat food cupboard with such tremendous success that the cupboard door came off the hinges and is completely beyond repair. What a legend

You need to threaten her with a Hannibal Lecter-type mask if she doesn’t behave around your calendars.

She's loafing on my lap presently. I've just told her that she mustn't munch the calendars, one ear moved slightly.

Just posted on the other general beauty chat thread but very happy with my CB edits! I've sold a few bits from CB and JLFAC on Vinted so going to pop some of the bits from these edits into my empty drawers! Particularly love the Necessaire shower gel, I've never come across these products before so now on the look out for more!
