My theory is that if they overstock one year they will understock the following and vice-versa.

@BeanNaGealai - indeed. I’m going to be ruthless with what I have and get rid of all the old stuff. I have lots of samples and minis from Beauty Drop boxes etc and a lot of them are in boxes so I will have a forage around.

You know the gift card that come with the cult beauty advent, is it actually a discount code meaning it can’t be used along side the CBAFF code? Or am I being stupid as I can’t get it to work as a gift card it’s saying it needs to be 16 digits

You can only use one or the other because both are entered as codes. I save the digital cards for things that discount codes don't work on.

I found that too. Yep, it works like a discount code not like a gift card. I had £20 account credit so I used that and the £20 BAC voucher to get the perfume edit for free, although I had to pay postage.

I prefer to use up credit ASAP because I don't want to lose it if companies go bust, change rules etc.

Hi folks - took ages coming back to say thank you for the advice on this, went for the Liberty one for her Xmas as it seems pretty special and she let has said before it’s her absolute favourite shop to browse and she has not been able to ever afford anything from there (that may have been a hint!) so hopefully this hits the mark!

Thats because a lot of people dont like the SpaceNK and CB this year and Harvey Nichols is missing from the line up.

Too bad. I wanted the Bac from Harrods but get it in person at the store next week. Oh well. I now have my gazillion edits from CB

Every now and then I get briefly really cross about the Sephora BAC not being delivered yet and then I clean forget all about it until some random point a few days later. I ordered the bleedin’ thing on 9 September! Grr.

Currently still in stock with the 20% , not normally one that sells out early unless of course they’ve made a lot less this year. I may try and bag one if they do their usual F&F 30% off in November and it’s still available. Managed to get one last year for my mum.

Can anyone remember what time the Selfridges BAC went on sale? I’ve messed up big time and booked Wednesday off work instead of Thursday. I work in a school so phone has to be locked away and won’t have access from 8am until at least 10am. Do you think the FAC will be sold out by then.

Can you swap days? I think it could be any time from 7:30 to 11 that it goes on sale. Or can anyone else get it for you? I don't think I'm going to sleep well at all on Wednesday night 🙈

I hope Selfridges is better holding stock than Harrods. Id rather have them release it in waves so people have a chance and limit the amounr. They do it with the BAC so maybe as well with the FAC

That’s true. I think John Lewis might be less popular than usual as well.

Harrods may still have their BAC in store. I think they have restocked their BAC online when it’s been popular in the past, but who knows whether or not they will they will this year.

I can't work out if it's not been a good year for BACs or am I just getting fatigued through over exposure. Leaning towards the former.

My CB edits have despatched so the code worked and too late to stop them now!

Im going to check it out regardless when Im in London on Thursday but if its not there its ok too.

I have now bought multiple CB edits with the discount codes. 1x Hair edit, 2 Luminous Skin and 2 Loved boxes with stuff I actually want. I paid around 200 euros for it and has plenty of skincare.

Thinking about that, i have a discount code so I can get the SpaceNK for 220 pounds. Still not interested. It just bores me. Im super happy with the edits. Ill wait to see what other companies come up with in their xmas edits.

And with the Selfridges FAC coming up I think Im done with advents until the discounting starts. Still want the LF but they cant seem to get their shit together with the dispatching.

I might as well put the 20 percent discount code towards a perfume that does not get discounted much to stack it with a GWP.
