Full disclosure my bank balance isnt looking great this month but im holding a lot of stock now so I'll just get through to pay day ( mid month) on ebay sales.... it's not a great tome of year financially after the summer and back to school malarkey.

On the other hand I smell wonderful!

I just bought the Marks one as a Christmas present for one of my sisters. I've bought it for her the last few years. I think this year's is good value, lots of nice things and a good price. I know she'll love it which is good enough for me!

Me too (not for your sister) I usualy have the holland and barrett but it contained bovine Collagen which has no place in and advent calendar imo.

I did buy LF BAC but cancelled it which I'm not regretting. I didn't intend to buy JL FAC - that was a bit of an impulse but it's a nice selection and not that expensive. I think my favourite this year is Sephora followed by CB just because I thought they were good, interesting curations for the price point. Harrods has some lovely luxe bits but there was a bit of filler I didn't love.

I don't feel quite done so now I've ruled out SNK Luxe and HHFAC I'll try for Selfridges FAC and hope for the best.

My bank balance has definitely looked better. I've got the Liberty, Harrods, Selfridges and Boots skincare BACs and the Harrods and John Lewis FACs. Im hoping to get the SFAC or if not, the F&M BAC but then I need to ignore all edits for about a year to have a hope of getting through everything I've accumulated. I doubt my resolve is that good though so I'll just have to be a bit more discerning next year.

Fabulous . I’m sure we’re going to love them . The only one I wanted but didn’t buy was the Diptique but when it came to it the minuscule 35ml candles put me off , even Penhaligons were 65ml . I love home fragrance and burn candles every evening but these were just too small .

I am not sure if inshoudm even disclose but will caveat it with I will make my own DIY advent for December and sell off the items I don’t want via facebook groups and Vinted.

I love this idea. I might keep a few for the new year too. I am determined this year to open them and use them straight away rather than adding them to my stash and forgetting where I got them from.

However, I chose to open the boots skin today and day one although is lovely it’s something I would only use in the summer so I’ve added to my stash 🙈🙈🙈.

I love reading everyone’s lists, and hearing about the adventures of the pioneers! Why does it bring me such joy?

@MrsBnow12 I especially love your list! I really wanted the Skins, Brown Thomas and Douglas, but wasn’t brave enough to try the forwarding companies. I also wish I’d gone for the Fenwicks, as I now appreciate the variety in there. Are the Skins contents really tucked away inside the 3D parts (like the awnings?), or was I tripping on BAC dopamine? 😂 either way, it’s beautiful.

This post reminds me id started refilling my liberty advent from last year. It in top cupboard of wardrobe. Out of sight 🤣
I did put some bits in but no idea what 🤔🙄 meno brain is handy the odd time 🤣
Im going to wear a sleep mask and just check each drawer with my hands to see which ive filled as I want the surprise. Although by Dec I will likely have forgot again 🤣

I still have a bag of things I had in last year's advent calendar (it was a boots one and the first I have ever bought myself)
For me it was a massive waste of money.
A silly part of me thinks I should get one of those empty drawer advent calendar things and fill it up so that I get the "thrill" of opening on the days.
However the bit with my brain engaged says recycle what I can into the local women's shelter shoebox appeal.
If you guys enjoy them please do continue have fun.
Beauty advent calendars are not right for me, but I like that you guys enjoy them- but please consider sending the things you have not used for women shelters.
