Winter wedding

Im getting married in the registry office in December but I have no idea what to wear... Im 47 for context, would like a dress but having no luck in finding an appropriate dress.
Ive tried on a coupleof N&T ones but they dont seem to be right.
Can anyone send any links? Don't want to spend loads as Ill be wearing it for about 3 hours before a xmas dinner and bed!!

I think the second one is pretty fabulous and looks great on you but it's a bold choice and o my you know if you'll feel comfortable.

It needs taking up Im only 5ft 2 and theres no sparkles like the first one.

You might find these dresses less party outfits. Not sure if you want that one if your choices is pure bling. These are more traditionally elegant.

Um no. First it far to night club and the second is… just too much everything!

I didnt really want a 'big dress' I'm looking at off white colours like champagne or even burgundy as its xmas.

@devfire There’s more at John Lewis. Your second choice says big dress and trying too hard to me. Just because it’s winter you don’t have to dress like a berry or a fairy on a tree. Up to you of course.

I like the colour burgundy also not just because its xmas. The dress is nice.

Just looked and there's lots of them including coloured ones on vinted and eBay .

The second one is amazing. Please don’t go for knee length and lacy! The one linked to are drab in comparison.
