So I rarely shop eg at high street stores and was only as I was in London the other week for the day, passed Stradavarius as I was sweating like a pig in my shirt (cotton) and grabbed a burgundy t shirt there. So I returned the other size (I got 2) and came away pleasantly surprised with this and a top. The quality is great, super soft and it goes with a bright Oliver Bonas skirt I got this summer:-

So anyway, give them a go!

Their jeans are fab too.

WildLeader · 25/09/2026 12:24

I like Stradivarius, it’s a little sister to Zara iirc.

i wouldn’t buy a man made fibres jumper tho. It won’t wear well.

I’ve got some really nice wide leg brown pleather jeans. They fit like a dream.

Loads of Stradivarius stuff on Vinted btw

Sgtmajormummy · 25/09/2026 12:47

I was there in August with 20yo DD. There were already a few Autumn clothes amid the Summer sales.
It was mostly blocks of colour (forest green and purple with white) and the cheap workmanship couldn’t be hidden like with prints.
We took one look and walked straight out!

She does have a few nice tee shirts from there, birthday presents from friends mostly.

fluffydoglove · 25/09/2026 12:52

I have quite a few pairs of their jeans that I’ve been buying for the past few years and I love them I find them the best on the high street
Also have a couple of midi dresses and a trench jacket from Stradivarius that are lovely and wash well I can’t fault them

foxychox · 25/09/2026 13:13

I got some great balloon trousers there in the summer! It’s not where I would usually shop but loved the trousers in the window. Wore them loads, light and comfy…

pippistrelle · 25/09/2026 16:29

I agree that they're pretty decent. I had a shoe emergency earlier this year when the ones I was wearing were really hurting my feet. I bought a pair of ballet flat trainers to wear there and then, and they were really comfortable straight away. Which is really unusual for me and new shoes. I've been wearing them all summer and they still look good. A great bargain at £30 or so.

SheilaFentiman · 25/09/2026 16:37

Thanks. I didn’t know they were in the UK.

runnerducky · 25/09/2026 16:42

I really like Stradivarius. Got some great jeans and cropped jumper from there. I keep meaning to go back.

For the prices they’re surprisingly good. The Tshirt I bought is a good quality cotton, decent weight, better than say H&M and £9.99. What’s not to like? I’ve seen some nice boots from there too. Yes their target market is probably younger than me but I’ve seen women my age in there and yesterday I saw a mum in her 30s middle class looking with her daughter in a buggy and buying herself clothes. They do nice colours, red basic tops, and other colours. If I was a younger mum I’d definetely shop there.

I’m late 50s, definitely not their target market 🤣🤣

runnerducky · 25/09/2026 17:17

Yeah I’m 40 so def not a young mum! But jeans and a jumper are pretty ubiquitous

Fortuity · 25/09/2026 17:39

Anyone else clicked on this expecting to read about violins?

Monndayhello · 25/09/2026 17:41

They do good thick cotton tshirts that wash well.

I have this jumper and can confirm it doesn’t age well.

Me! 😄

I think I can now post on the recent thread 'when did you realise you were old'!!

borntobequiet · 25/09/2026 18:36

The nicest pair of jeans I possess came from there.

so few jumpers do these days!

I got some lovely wool jumpers last year from Next, they were amazingly reasonable

for cashmere tho, I go Vinted all the way!

BeBreezyPlum · 25/09/2026 20:51

I genuinely thought this would be about violins. Oh well.

SheilaFentiman · 25/09/2026 21:04

I bought a couple of bum covering cardigans (one beige, one black) from them when I was I. Europe - and I’m not much younger than @foxychox 🙂

I’m late 30s and I don’t think I have stepped foot in there since my early 20s!!

Same for Bershka.

MrsKateColumbo · 25/09/2026 21:18

Another vote for their jeans!

Maomee · 25/09/2026 21:46

The few times I've been in one I've been shocked at how low the quality is. Even years ago when most shops were a bit better. Also had one or two things from them via asos and never been wowed.

minnowonthesay · 25/09/2026 21:58

It’s owned by the Inditex group that own Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho etc, so it’s a good brand, ASOS stocks it too
