What on earth is that picture? It looks like something from Hogwarts!
I thought Angela Kelly said they were in a sort of strongroom in the basement, so there needed to be planning to get them? It seems a bit odd to have tiaras in a wardrobe.

Apparently they're split between Buckingham Palace and Windsor.

Makes sense. I would love a rummage. I wish we could have a group visit!

It would be interesting to mix them up a bit mid rummage. I love trying on hats. There must be some at the back of shelves that need moved forward.

Maybe not that odd, my Dad's ashes are in a wardrobe!

I'm looking forward to seeing the gowns and jewels later.

In all honesty, frugal, that makes more sense!

The plan is to scatter him and mum at the highest point of the IOW when the time comes, until then he's safe in the bottom of his wardrobe. Sadly I don't think there are any tiaras in there with him 😂

Yellow has been very on trend this season just passed. Unexpected!

I think yellow is different, and I'm guessing a tribute? It moves beautifully and looks gorgeous.

Camilla looks a bit of a mish-mash? Bright blue dress, red and green sash and amethyst and diamond necklace and earrings…love that she wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland though.

Yes, I think the colour of the dress is a bit strong, particularly with the sash and the jewellery. Has the Sultan come alone?

I was trying to work out the Queen's tiara - I thought it looked too tall for the GGB&I.

The Sultan has come with his heir, the Crown Prince.

The yellow goes well with the sash, which I always think must be an absolute pain to wear. I'm not massively keen on the style and not sure the colour flatters Catherine. It's fine but not a stand out.

I prefer the dress still than in motion. Usually it's the other way round.

Oooh, the dress is Elie Saab. A designer Kate has only worn a couple of times before, and who I’d love to see her wear more often. Here’s the runway version. (Commentators have pointed out that it’s quite Disney Princess - Belle - coded, which I presume isn’t intentional…).

No sign of Sophie in the official entry line. I was hoping we’d see her in a new tiara.

I dislike the neckline on Kate's dress and I don't know why she's so averse to putting her hair up. An elegant updo would show off the tiara so much better.

I’m a bit bored of the cape-y dresses now - and of the tiara although it is absolutely beautiful close up.

He's my favourite designer. If I was rich I would have him on speed dial but I'm not rich so his perfume is as close as I'll get!

That said, this isn't one of his better dresses imo. And I'm not sure that shade of yellow does much for Kate's complexion.

It is a mish mash as you say. Strange mix of colours.

Catherine had only worn five tiaras according to Hello. Perhaps there's a pecking order. Or perhaps some of them are either uncomfortable or just not her taste. Perhaps like Mary there will be some redesigning going on. One of those amethysts would be enough for me as a pendant.

Not sure how I feel about Kate’s dress, I like the cape effect & high waist but I don’t think the colour works.
