Meghan's coat is by Tove Studio, a small British firm. They seem delighted on their Insta page. The red version looks fabulous. It probably suits taller people better, tbh.

The red would have been better on Meghan I think. Yes too to the height thing tho. I’m tall and must say I do love the coat-wearing advantage come autumn!

Ah I did wonder. Royal fashion police still haven't covered her outfit. So good to know a British company got a look in

Here's another picture - navy coat and dark green skirt, I think.

The thing is she generally looks nice and does in that kilt outfit -but I doubt anyone is looking at it saying "oh I'd love an outfit like that". I do like the actual skirt but maybe if she had a vibrant coloured coat with it instead of the black. or the blouse wasn't somewhere between a barrister's ruffle and a traditional scottish blouse. Also the shoes - so old fashioned. Catherine's shoes fascinate me because I suspect she is a woman who never wears high heels outside of work events.

I'm not keen on Kate's outfit, but then I don't like frilly shirts or tartan. The coat and bag are nice, though.

Oh no, that's way too prim. I prefer how the skirt is styled on the EW site as the boots give it a bit of an edge.

point of the shirt is though. It seems a bit of a pastiche. It’s giving me Andy Stewart Scotch Corner vibes

It's a clever outfit.

You could look at it and think Ulster Scots, or you could look at it and think Irish dancer theme.

The colours are muted enough not to irritate anyone, and it looks good.

It's very pretty. I think her hair is shorter now than before.

The whole outfit is well put together and very smart. We don't often see her in a skirt. A welcome change from the coat dress.
