If I borrowed gorgeous white trousers and had afternoon tea they would be going back with jam and mayo stains.
I have some flowing trousers and a dress that I bought for visiting a Muslim country...luckily they have pockets I can use to control them.

I also think tucking a top in like that is a tough one when you have no waist. I have no waist either (though I’m not as slim as MM!) and it’s tricky getting it right. I usually try and aim for a stop that stops at the waist rather than actually having to tuck it in, which seems to soften thf look a bit. Or alternatively I do a half tuck (or let’s be honest, I go for the untucked slouchy/scruffy look) but I think MM likes to look immaculate on these occasions rather than pulled-through-a-hedge-backwards (my Style of choice!) Anyway, it is a tricky one and the tucked-in top really doesn’t suit her shape (plus I agree the top itself is not nice)

I do think that the coat rather unfortunately looks like the crime against fashion that is a waterfall cardigan in some of the photos 😬

Why does the media go on about the outfit costing £28k when the jewellery and accessories make up most of the cost.

I quite like the coat but not the colour.

This is how it should look. It’s a horrid colour. As a short woman I know coats are always a difficult choice, but shapeless will always look terrible.

When Meghan gets it right she looks so good. But sadly this is not one of those times.

I love Malala's trousers.

Meghan's whole outfit is proportionally wrong imho, just too billowy. A pp said it would look better with slimmer trousers and I'd definitely agree with that.
I normally love a brown hue, but this one is too cigarette filter-y for me.

It looks more like a man’s coat in that photo. Can’t work out if the model is male or female but I’m verging on male.

I think I may have to go with the mantra of ‘if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.’

Leti at the reception for the Macrons.

Leti in a Sandro midi dress, with ruched detail. Gold Magrit bag ahd shoes, the latter her favoured low slingback style.. Brigitte in a simple ice blue dress, both women look very chic.

Think Brigitte better suits warmer pastel colours like that outstanding pink coat&dress, but the ice blue is good too. It has a '60's vibe.

I think Letizia and Mary are probably my favourites from a style POV as I would actually wear a lot of what they do.

Yes I think Brigitte goes for the 60s vibe with her boxy styles, hair and makeup.

Same here, I think they get fit and proportions right, but often try something a bit different. Plus not everything is high end.

I agree. What Mary and Leti wear seems “accessible” iyswim. Max’s style is great to look at but probably a little too individual to her for most to emulate 😆

WRT to Mme Macron, I think her style is rather stereotypical of Parisian style (straight knee length skirt, suits, neat shirts). She always looks very well presented but perhaps a bit predictable dare I say 🤷‍♀️

As an aside, it looks as though she is standing on her toes to greet Felipe, even though she is already wearing heels? 😆

Meghan never seems to dress for her figure, except when wearing casual clothes like the shots the other day where she looks good. This has too much fabric and is too pale in colour. She looks much better in stronger colours, I don't understand the insistence on beige and white most of the time.

I am a similar shape to Meghan and like her look a lot better in slimmer fitting clothes.

Was listening to a podcast this week (can't remember which one) and they didn't seem to think she does get lent many high end clothes as she is such a polarising figure.

Queen Mary has a very good stylist. I think that's part of the secret for many notable women in the public eye.
