As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

No. It always says sold out when they haven't launched yet. If the listing is up it must be imminent. So next 1-3 days would be be a good bet.

Was very excited seeing all the positive comments about the Cult Beauty festive edits but literally none of them appeal to me. Too many travel and sample sizes. What’s with the fragrance edit being all 2ml, those are free samples!

however agree that the Luminous Skin edit is an absolute bargain with a full size Medik8 AP and Allies Of Skin eye cream, £164 RRP just in those two products in a £40 edit. I need neither though. @BakeOffRewatch I really like that EL serum. I didn't like the face creme with SPF though that was in a Liberty edit so mixed bag so far.

I really like the Glow Recipe Plum Plump range and the Avocado Cleanser.

@BakeOffRewatch I'm not tempted by the CB edits either, I'm a bit surprised by all the positive comments. Re Emma Lewisham, I tried the skin reset serum (I think from Liberty BAC 2025) and I thought it was brilliant. Too pricey to repurchase though.

@BakeOffRewatch I've never actually tried any Emma Lewisham stuff. I'm glad it's small, I can rest it without worrying I won't like it 🥰 I'll probably only buy the luminous, I was going to get the favourites too but I don't actually need anymore of the ab rich cream, I have loads of it already that I picked up in last year's sales.

I’m tempted by the Luminous skin and forever loved edits, but kind of uncomfortably aware that I have 2 sealed bottles of the white medik8 peptides that I got from the fairy summer bags sitting in my stash, so getting the black one is probably unnecessary (understatement!). Also my as- yet-unnamed ChatGPT tells me I have more than enough eye cream to last out the decade.

Hmmm. Suspect I’ll be buying both.

I absolutely loved those CB stockings last year - particularly when they got reduced! I was hoping for pretty things again this year but only one seems to be in a bag.

I will be holding out for reductions and/or a generous points offer!

@Fillybuster Thank you for reminding me about the JL cracker bargains! I bought 3 of them and totally forgot. I am close to finishing the Medik8 retinal 3 and wanted to move on to the 6. I was kicking myself as this was in a BAC last year and I sold it thinking it might be too strong as I’d not tried the lower ones (didn’t realise how high the numbers went; I’m a rookie 😅)
I shall dig them out 😃

I have had the CB edit sat in my basket. I didn’t check it out because I already have one of the Murad in my stash (I think from a Debenhams edit), but now I’ve seen a code I think I’ll go for it, as I do like all of the Murad products I’ve tried so far

@IlovePond I bought a few of the stockings when they were reduced to put away for this Christmas! My plan is to mix & match the contents and put back in the stockings for gifts.
Problem is that despite knowing this, I still keep buying more stuff, so these stockings are going to be jam packed and it won’t have been a total bargain gift after all 😅

A bit relieved I’m not in love with the cult edits too. I would have maybe gone for the ones with the full size medik8 and the AB but I’ve spent enough recently so can’t justify it. It’s a shame they weren’t both in the same box. That’s too much to ask I guess! I’m not impressed with the fragrance one either so that’s an easy miss for me.

Those CB edits look really good. I do have 2 of the Medik8 serums in my stash though.
Am tempted to get a second overnight edit now that the code is working to bring the price down.

I like the look of the forever loved kit. I think the AB is the same one that's in one of the advents I've bought so it wouldnt hurt to get a second. Im sitting on £25 of CB points so it would make it even more of a bargain. I'd like the Medik8 out of the luminous skin edit but I don't really need anything else in it. I'm going to have to find inventive ways to use up eye creams already as I'm going to be awash with them after December.

The oil and facial balm are lovely (don't be put off by the beads in the balm). I find the hand pomade quite rich, I love the hand lotion though. Some people find the smell a bit medicinal.

I really like their ethos and their CS is great.

There are mixed views on the subs box. I was an early subscriber and they are still holding the original price so I pay less than the current rate. I always think the boxes are worth that rate - I think it's £48 - but sometimes people feel there's a miss in terms of mix of products so it might be a household item that has the value rather than skincare. Doors that make sense?
