As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

@SummerLimes I was havering, but the Murad was the main thing that I wanted from Elle, and I had a £10 CB voucher burning a hole in my mental wallet. Although I probably didn’t need to buy 2!

can anyone who has silver status with Cult Beauty tell me how it works. can you choose any brands for the 15% off? Also does this 15% discount stack with other discounts? As far as I can tell CB seems to permanently have codes for 20% off most things, so if it doesn’t stack it seems pointless?

for those considering buying the cult beauty edit for the Murad retinal treatment - the code today CBAFF gives 20% off so it’s down to about £35.

Annoyingly the chat about it made me decide to buy another one at full price last night not knowing this, but I am reminding myself that seeing as I love the Murad product it was already a bargain at £45.

Anyone had issues with cult beauty saying the points have expired. I’ve spent loads over the last 12 months so there is no way the £10 of my remaining credit is more than 12 months out of date because this is credit for purchases I’ve made in the last few months. I’ve emailed them but it’s still very odd.

They did a promotion maybe 3 months ago where you got £10 worth of points which only had 3 months life on them as they expired end Sept - so maybe it’s those points if you bought something during that promotion? X

I don’t really understand it either 😂 they seem to choose 6 brands that qualify for the membership discount. Those brands are top level and not usually covered by the regular 20-25% off members get. Or if they are, the membership discount includes the newest releases, I remember this with Allies of Skin and Kayali. So the latest Kayali rum one shows discounted to me but I don’t think the discount codes would work. That’s what I think and based on me half reading emails as a gold member

Wow! These kits are great and some are amazing!!! 15mlof AB Rick cream in a kit for £40! I will be buying a few of these! Also the body kit- I already use the Paula’s choice and the whole kit is the same price at this. Exciting!!!!!

The Luminous Skin and Forever Loved edits are very tempting. I will probably go for one of those, if not both.

Those are the 2 I'm eyeing up too 😍 I have loads of the rich cream but I know I'll use it, so I think getting another for £40 is good and everything else is basically free. I love the medik8 advanced peptides serum in the luminous skin box, I wouldn't mind trying out the AoS eye cream so I think I'll like that one 🥰 3 out of the 4 travel sizes in the scent box I know I don't like so there's no point in getting that. It depends though as I do want to pick up the Selfridges FAC, the YSL burgundy blush and quite a few Dior products from the holiday collection.

Another hoping to pick up the Luminous skin one, I love the Medik8 and the AB Rich Cream and looking forward to trying the Allies, it’s worth it for just two of those products.

I'm annoyed I succumbed to the CH edit now. Serves me right for being impulsive.

Will be getting the luminous skin edit. Using the Medik8 serum atm, and like it. So always great to have a backup!
