As always when the Advent threads are running hot this thread is a little quieter but holiday releases, sets and edits are just around the corner. I'm super excited to be going to Sephoria London in October - I still can't believe I lucked out getting a ticket.

Ok I’m holding on the liberty kit until tomorrow. It’s clear I have more restraint that even I knew. However, I’ve just realised they still have their GWP with a £275 spend so I will see if it includes the kit tomorrow. 😬

If the cream and mask were different ones I'd have probably bought it. They're main items though so need to be ones I'd want. I can live with brow gel etc. that I don't need if the skincare things are worth it to me.

Hello! I've been reading this and the advent thread semi-regularly.

I'm interested in the Lisa Eldridge founder's edit and I am a BD member. But if I pause, the thing I'm most interested in is... the wash bag, as silly as it sounds. I would probably use the cleanser and the mirror water oil, but I don't really use the haircare, and have enough makeup and skincare so I should be good and not get more.

Doing a frankenstein one so could add a few things from this. Im not a big fan of votary and my skin is sensitive and I have rosacea but it is calming down as ive really cut back this last week. Its so hard when surrounded by stuff.
Is the lisa eldridge gentle? 😍

There will be a load of the bags on Vinted in a few days. I've bought a bag I wanted from a previous kit on there. Probably around £15-£20

@Beautyfox I've just checked while logged in - the main site shows the GWP but when I add more than 275 GBP of random beauty (non-advent, non-edits), the GWP doesn't show up in my basket. Unsure whether it's a glitch or the GWP is gone.

I quite like the Liberty edit but I think I prefer the look of the Selfridges edit. Hopefully it'll be online soon, although as Ive currently got half an eye out for JL FAC, Selfridges FAC and am pondering F&M BAC, maybe it's better for my bank account if it doesnt 😅

I loved the SbA edit bag but not so much the contents. Boots £10 tues reminder, not that I've ever bought anything.

Just want to give a shout out to Dr Organics Manuka face mask it's a clay based one. I've been using it for years, prob mentioned on here before. Left it on for a long time on Sunday evening to give face a good clean as I'd fallen out of the habit. As it was late I didn't have time for a moisturising mask after, my skin is amazing and soft. It somehow manages to degunk, brighten, and not dry out.

Been trying the Valmont prime mask - smells 1950s over fragranced but it seems to work well or at least it's not giving issues.

I've gone for the LE edit as I had £180 on vouchers and want to use them up.

@JasmineMilkTea I tried to get it to work with the GWP too, but it didn't add to my bag when I added £300 of beauty products so presume it's sold out? If it does start working with the gwp at some point I might try again.

The whole point of saving the BD credit is to be able to buy things that are expensive!

I've only paid £5 today towards it and I'm now due a £10 voucher this quarter.
This feels like a nice way to spend the credit rather than the next perfume edit because I would always buy the perfumes regardless!

Are you asking about the Lisa Eldridge cleanser? Yes it’s really gentle and can be used as a face mask too. It’s tree sap/resin. Fragrance free. A bit like manuka honey on the face in terms of how it feels, it’s not a soapy surfactant. She did a video on it. Calls it “barrier boosting” on the product page https://www.lisaeldridge.com/products/skin-enhancing-treatment-cleanser don’t have to double cleanse either if you use a flannel to wipe it all off

I blind bought Plur Tangerine Boy last night, maybe I should have bought the discovery set. Some great sales recently, my poor bank account!

The ‘fairy’ has sent out a message to say they have the latest Cult Beauty gwp for £13 - am tempted as have heard good things about the Allies

My fingers were poised ready to order the liberty edit but I'll be in store on Friday and it's always a slightly nicer expereince to get it in store (or, more realistically if I don't wait I'll just buy something else anyway).

Will also check out the violette lip balms - there's a chocolat one and new figue one just realised in time for Autumn.

If anyone here is buying the LE edit and selling the bag, let me know, as that’s the part I most want too!

I'm not tempted by the Liberty Kit, although I'd like the Velatura Balm and am curious about the perfume. I'm not a fan of the Votary or the Verden cream formulations and so far haven't liked anything I've tried from Emma Lewisham so it's an easy pass.

I can sell it on as I have far too many liberty bags. Will pick up in store on Friday. PM me if interested.

Merit x Erdem Holiday Sets - love the packaging but less enthused by the contents, although their are a couple of exclusive shades included. Available on the website now.

I think I’m going to go for the CB GWP via the Fairy. The Allies of Skin moisturiser has great reviews, and it’s a brand I’ve been wanting to try, and my stash is a little short on day creams.

Does anyone have details for the Fairy please? Wpuld also like the GWP😊
