Sure the fabric is pretty but making a dress that you need to wear a whole other dress underneath to be publicly decent seems a strange decision.

iCod · Yesterday 17:10

Or maybe not, maybe just fancy pants

I’ll definitely be wearing this at the High Court next week when I cross examine a defendant.

queenofthebongo · Yesterday 17:14

Yes, I might buy it for my next parent’s evening. Thank you for this.

AlexandraCarrington · Yesterday 17:14

If this was a Georgette Heyer novel, you'd wear a slip of white satin under it.

(It does actually look quite pretty, just not practical!)

Namechangerage · Yesterday 17:15

Those who can’t be bothered need not apply (myself included)

iCod · Yesterday 17:16

It's a top?! Gosh it was styled as a dress there maybe the staff got it wrong.

Just click on the link, thank you, the way they've started it looks pretty bad doesn't it?

Maybe even my awful middle-aged body would look better under it.

On the model, it looks long enough to be worn as a dress.

The model is 5ft 11in, it says, so it would be knee length on most people.

summater · Yesterday 17:18

It does look like a sparkly pinny how it's styled, like the floral ones my mum used to wear

Iwilladmit · Yesterday 17:19

I’d wear it with a bra and pants tbh. Big pants and a non-see through bra but still - I like it.

ItsAlwaysTwins · Yesterday 17:21

I was wearing things styled like that in the 90s, so I’m out.

damemaggiescurledupperlip · Yesterday 17:22

I can see it on a 19yo over a white bikini for beach to bar. Maybe.

jay55 · Yesterday 17:23

Was it designed for Kanye’s wife.

damemaggiescurledupperlip · Yesterday 17:23

Esp as it will be peanuts in the January sales

Hehe true!! styled under a jacket is a bit weird, they obviously don’t always show staff the pictures 🤣

FleaDog · Yesterday 17:25

Marks and Spencer.

Should look ok with some nice floral belly warmers.

PineappleSunrise · Yesterday 17:28

There’s been a lot of this sheer top/skirt/dress stuff around for the past year. The M&S one is at least being shown layered over things, most brands have sent models out just with a big bra and pants underneath.

Geneticsbunny · Yesterday 17:40

Look ideal for a wedding guest?

Namechangerage · Yesterday 17:15

Pretty obvious really wasn't it? 🙄As if anyone would go out in this!

LinedOverLatte · Yesterday 17:49

Thanks for sharing - I’ve looked everywhere for something special to wear to DDs First Communion. The bling on this is just subtle enough to not overshadow.

Sezza57325 · Yesterday 17:49

I like the final M&S pic where she’s got it over a swimming cozzie in front of a garage door

SevenYellowHammers · Yesterday 18:14

Nailed it. I will probably get two so I have one for church too.
