Same, was excited to see it but disappointed with the contents. I love beautypie but its a no from me

I joined many years ago. So many limits. I ended up cancelling and losing credit which kept me away from then ever since. Couldn't still use any left credit which I thought was a big con. Then offering other promotions that I dont think were fair to their regular paying customers.
I like the sound of the perfume and a few bits but not enough to hand over that much money. Im 50/50 as to how good they are. A lot of clever marketing at the start imo. They seem to be being promoted mote this year. Caroline Barnes raves about their products.

I've gone with harrods this year - I've done 5 liberty BACs on the trot as a beauty drop member, but I've become increasingly frustrated at what I perceive as an over abundance of niche fragrances. Its arrived, its beautiful, I've had a quick check through of windows to ensure its all there. :-) I've talked myself out of diptyque, despite coveting it for years, I think it was 9 candles, 6 fragrances and a bunch of hair mists and hand creams that don't do it for me. I've set alerts on vinted for other bits I'm stalking based on the very helpful beauty detective calendar by calendar break down - I fancied John Lewis on the basis of the Foreo UFO ( love a bit of tech) - but picked one up on vinted for £27, so thats fed that urge.

Torn and damaged on arrival
Products inside are nice but the box is not very sturdy. It's not packaged well. Mine arrived damaged. Not the premium experience the price tag conveys. CB customer service were reasonably helpful on raising the issue of damage.

@Annamarieboo - lots of the Trinny make up products contain talc as do the Clio eyeshadow palette and the mascara in the YESSTYLE calendar. The Iconic palette in the ASOS calendar contains talc as well.

There’s not as much talc around this year in calendars due to the lack of eyeshadow palettes but it turns up in the oddest places. (There was talc in a BB cream I got from Korea recently, which surprised me!)

I also think that - finally - companies are phasing out its use.

Good grief I never even thought to look for talc in cream products! I had no idea but have just checked and found it is in a couple of my favourite Trinny Eye2Eye shades. I am now trying to convince myself they are safe to use because they aren't powder...

@Floopsy - that sucks - I hate it when companies will only publish rave reviews. I had a similar one rejected by LF - great product, parcel arrived in bits.

I got the ‘your review doesn’t meet our guidelines’ message, as if I had been effing and blinding!

I was really annoyed and haven’t bought anything from LF since.

It’s dreadful, isn’t it @nearly61 - and yet those Trinny products are EVERYWHERE in high brand calendars!

It's out of stock now so I think you got the only one 😂

I'm relieved because I wanted it but knew I shouldn't buy it so was sitting on it hoping the temptation would be removed.

Cult Beauty are continuing to fob me off with a discount code that doesn't work. I am starting to get really cross.

Just gone to but this and oos. 🤔 it clearly wasn't meant to be. I looked at this last year but have been eyeing up their eye tints. Not too gutted as some lip shades too dark for me but a bargain. X

Hello hive mind- if anyone fancies a recommendation challenge I’m looking for something that definitely has:

• face powder - not too matte. Ovahere has recommended morphe so have a back up incase
• non-powder blush
• medik8 or elemis
• perfume not too sweet - but hopefully getting JL FAC as back up

Everything else a bonus! Not fussed on hair stuff

I was thinking of Elle or asos? Others? Not liberty as I really don’t love some of those scents.

Morning all.

Just to update on my Liberty complaint - a lovely email from them this morning to say that two new products are being sent today. Full marks to Liberty CS for handling so quickly and efficiently. They have restored my faith somewhat!

On a happier note, I order the Korres Limited Edition calendar this morning - £99. Mostly small sizes but I like their handcreams, shower products and yogurt cleanser so these are good holiday sizes of nice products. Strange website though and I didn't find it on there, did a Google search and it came up under sponsored results.

So that's my three for this year - Liberty, F&M and Korres. Must now try very hard not to be lured into buying any more but always open to temptation!

@IlovePondjust seen the contents of the SK box, they’ve released it on their app. Unfortunately there are spot patches! 😂 Otherwise it does look pretty good. I’m not going to get it as I got the amazing pharmacy box (1st edition) months ago that I’m still working through.
